Excellent, funny, wonderful music, we were very pleased
Walnut Street Theatre - Philadelphia
Took the family, 1st time for my daughter in law and grandson. Quite frankly I was concerned it wouldn't be great, I was dead wrong. Everyone loved the show, the music and the cast (I actually saw Ben Dibble in the Producers at the Walnut some years ago) it was a wonderful time. I think the show is great, would not hesitate to see it again. I can't say enough good things about it , the "Putting on the Ritz" number was mind blowing. Thankyou to the Walnut Street Theater, the wonderful cast and the incomparable Mel Brooks.

It's Alive!
Walnut Street Theatre - Philadelphia
I laughed so hard at this wonderfully energetic, brilliantly performed show. The comic genius of Mel Brooks' Young Frankenstein had us from the get go. As big fans of the movie version, we were so happy to see everything we loved from the cinematic version was kept for this show. The cast was amazing and worked so hard. They radiated joy at every turn. Well done WST, well done!

As fun as the movie!!
Walnut Street Theatre - Philadelphia
Overall great show. The songs were very well performed very well written. All the leads were just great. I wouldn’t really change anything regarding casting. Orchestra was also fantastic. The theater, which I’ve never been in before, was really quite good. It’s small but it’s definitely big enough to host a decent size audience. All seats were good views of the stage. Would definitely go back again.

Seating
Walnut Street Theatre - Philadelphia
The seats we purchased were in the 4th row mezzanine level. I would have liked to have had a seat view at ticket purchase time so that I could be aware that there was a slight sight obstruction from the balcony. as it turned out there were 4 seats to the right of me that went unoccupied so we shifted over and had a wonderful view.
The classic Mel Brooks movie is ALIVE... and it's Broadway's award-winning MONSTER HIT!
You'll have a monstrously good time at this spectacular new production, winner of the 2008 Outer Critics Circle Award and the Broadway.com Audience Award for BEST MUSICAL!
Don't miss the sensational cast delivering all your favorite moments from the classic film, plus brand-new show-stopping numbers for the Broadway stage, including "Transylvania Mania," "He Vas My Boyfriend" and "Puttin' on the Ritz."
This wickedly inspired re-imagining of the Frankenstein legend follows bright young Dr. Frankenstein (that's Fronkensteen) as he attempts to create a monster—but not without scary and hilarious complications. The brains behind the laughter is mad genius and three-time Tony winner Mel Brooks himself—who wrote the music and lyrics and co-wrote the book—along with his record-breaking team from The Producers: five-time Tony-winning director and choreographer Susan Stroman and three-time Tony-winning writer Thomas Meehan.
"THE BROADWAY MUSICAL AT ITS DIZZIEST, GLITZIEST AND FUNNIEST!"
