Born in Livingston, New Jersey, to a Jewish father and Mormon mother, Chelsea Handler is the youngest of six children...all good material for a career in comedy. Not only was this disappointing on many levels, but she was also born just five and a half years after her sister Shoshanna burst onto the scene and had since embraced and relished being the youngest of the Handler clan. Shoshanna, though, was pissed that her parents had failed to use birth control and didn't know why her mother Rita didn't exercise her right to choose.

Her comedy mixes fearless honesty, ironic riffs and self-deprecations with no shortage of material.  In March 2007 her first half-hour stand-up special, airing on Comedy Central, was a ratings hit.  She regularly appears on "The Tonight Show with Jay Leno," has co-hosted "The View," was profiled on "Nightline," and has appeared on  "Today," LIVE with Regis and Kelly" and "Late Night with David Letterman." 

Chelsea has been recently featured in the New York Times, W, People and is a special guest columnist for Cosmopolitan Magazine.  Vanity Fair proclaimed her one of the "Queens of Comedy" and she was recently named by Entertainment Weekly as one of the top 10 "Breakout Stars of 2008." In April 2009, Bravo honored Chelsea with their "A-List Funny Award" beating out fellow comedic heavyweights Tina Fey, Conan O'Brien, Ricky Gervais and Amy Poehler.
For all of its four seasons, Chelsea was the star of Oxygen's "Girls Behaving Badly" which is now syndicated in over 90 markets.  She also starred on E! in "The Chelsea Handler Show." In 2007 - 2008, Chelsea starred with Jenny McCarthy and Leah Remini in the hugely popular MSN online web series "In The Motherhood."

Chelsea's first book, entitled "My Horizontal Life: A Collection of One Night Stands," published by Bloomsbury, was released in the U.S. and over twenty other countries, and is currently on its 31st week on the New York Times Best  Seller list. It has become a bestseller on several lists.   Her follow-up book, entitled "Are You There, Vodka? It's Me, Chelsea," published by Simon Spotlight, came out on April 22, 2008 and debuted at #1 on the New York Times Best Seller list.  Since it debut at #1 it has remained on the list for 42 weeks. Her third book, "Chelsea Chelsea Bang Bang" will be released by Grand Central Publishing on March 9 2010.

In March 2009, Chelsea was honored with the prestigious Ally for Equality Award by the Human Rights Campaign, recognizing the outstanding efforts of those who dedicate time, energy, spirit and whole-hearted commitment to better the lives of LGBT people.  In addition, Chelsea will be the celebrity grand marshal for the 2009 Los Angeles Gay Pride Parade taking place in June drawing close to 500,000 spectators from across the country.

CHUY BRAVO BIOGRAPHY

Now famous as the personal assistant of basic-cable TV hostess Chelsea Handler, Chuy Bravo's path to Hollywood stardom was long and arduous—mainly because he has little nugget legs, so it takes him twice as long to get anywhere.

Born Jesus Melgoza, Chuy's first exposure to Hollywood was as a young man, when the production of The Three Amigos rolled into his tiny Mexican village, which led to a temporary job arranging nightly hookers for the production crew.

Bitten by the Hollywood bug—and a poisonous tarantula, but that's another story—Chuy was determined to make it to Los Angeles and pursue his dream of big-screen stardom. He has now, more appropriately, settled for the small screen.

Armed with nothing more than a condom full of cocaine that a local drug lord paid him to swallow and smuggle, Chuy hopped aboard a little horsey and proceeded on an eight-month trail ride to the United States.

After years of odd jobs that most notably included stints as the stunt double for Fantasy Island star Hervé Villechaize and The Hulk's Lou Ferrigno, Chuy has settled into what he hopes is a lifelong position as the assistant to one of cable TV's fastest-rising stars. In his spare time, Chuy moonlights as an actor and can be seen in The Rundown, starring The Rock, and Pirates of the Caribbean: At World's End.

Chuy is single. He has no children (that he publicly acknowledges), lives in the prestigious San Fernando Valley and drives a Toyota Corolla. Watch out, ladies!
