About

Producer Danger Mouse and soul singer CeeLo Green were already established in the music industry when they joined forces as Gnarls Barkley in 2006, quickly overshadowing their independent fame with their chart-topping debut St. Elsewhere, which featured the international No. 1 smash "Crazy." "St. Elsewhere" was a booming success, and "Crazy" was a frequent play on the radio for much of the second half of the 2000s. Since the release of "St. Elsewhere," CeeLo Green has returned to his solo career while Danger Mouse continues to work with high-profile artists such as The Black Keys, Ike Turner, Beck and The Roots. Due to scheduling conflicts, Gnarls Barkley plays a concert infrequently, making tickets to a show a hot commodity. Gnarls Barkley has performed on the MTV Music Awards and Saturday Night Live, and toured with the Red Hot Chili Peppers. Gnarls Barkley followed up "St. Elsewhere" in 2008 with "The Odd Couple." The album features "Run (I'm A Natural Disaster)" and "Going On." The duo released an EP entitled "Who's Gonna Save My Soul" the same year and have announced plans for a third album.

Danger Mouse and CeeLo Green met in the early 2000s while Green was touring, and Danger Mouse was serving as his DJ. Previously, CeeLo Green was a member of Goodie Mob while Danger Mouse had collaborated with several artists, including the critically acclaimed mash-up, The Grey Album. While "St. Elsewhere" had other notable tracks such as "Go-Go Gadget Gospel" and "Just A Thought," "Crazy" was the smash single and kept "St. Elsewhere" at No. 1 on the Billboard Dance/Electronic chart for 39 non-consecutive weeks. The band also won a Grammy for Best Alternative Music Album in 2007 and have several other nominations. As a result, Gnarls Barkley continues to drive fans crazy with their neo-soul and is a must-have ticket when they perform live.
