Fabulous show. Yoko Ono is often misunderstood, but a profound and legendary performance artist... still going strong in her 80's!!

Just to see this woman sing Walking On Thin Ice in person with Sean, looking like his dad from 1969....holy cow!!!!!

    Interesting!

by DanielsMom2000 on 12/25/10Orpheum Theatre - Los Angeles

I've never heard much of Yoko singing before, but went mainly because she is historic. To see her perform with Sean, then add the special guests to the bill, it was a fabulous night. I paid $175 for front row and wouldn't change it for the world. She is in great shape and pretty sharp-witted for her age of 77! Oh, what could have been if John Lennon hadn't been taken from us so long ago.

    Historic show

by zerotenshow on 10/14/10Orpheum Theatre - Los Angeles

Yoko and the Plastic Ono Band were historic, devastating, inspiring, and unforgettable in every way. Sean curated the guests seamlessly and creatively, and the band was overwhelming in their passion and intensity. Matching the eternal creative fire of one of the great performance artists and vocalists of all time was a challenge they not only met, but gave back to push Ono to ever-greater heights. Worth the trip to L.A. and then some!

    Enchanting!

by Anonymous on 10/9/10Orpheum Theatre - Los Angeles

I wasn't sure what to expect when I bought tickets for this concert. I am a huge John Lennon and Sean Lennon fan but was not too familiar with Yoko's work other than her music on the Double Fantasy album. I was surprised with how much I liked her music. The concert was split into two acts. The first part, which I liked better than the second, was all sung by Yoko and featured video clips of her life and art. After the intermission many other artists took turns on the stage with her, adding a twist to her songs. One of the most memorable moments was after the first song when Yoko thanked the audience for the applause and said she had written that particular song 40 years ago. I was shocked - the song was so modern rock! This woman was 40 years ahead of her time! The concert was unlike any other I have ever seen. Yoko Ono is on a level of her own. Although some of her voice techniques may not be considered "singing" I felt drawn in to the emotion she emitted in each song. It was enchanting! I regret that I did not become familiar with her work years ago but am proud to call myself a Yoko fan now.

    time to slow down

by Anonymous on 10/6/10Orpheum Theatre - Los Angeles

the talent was amazing. it was awesome to see Yoko. she has lived through more than most people even imagine. Ha Ha get it Imagine. any way . I hate to say this but the artistry of the scream singing is a little hard to take. at first it was art and a few songs were perfect then it kind of got in the way of showcasing all the incredible talent that was on the stage with her. If she had not sung with most of her guests then it would have raised my opinion of the concert from four to 5 stars. she should sing a couple of songs then dance and play the tambourine while sean and the crew takes over. He is very beautiful and talented.
