Wow what a great show. I did not know what to expect since my girlfriend got the tickets. Very good mix of talent, humor and showmanship. Everyone has an individual talent that is displayed during the show. The event center was not very full which surprised me once the show started. I think the Yard Dogs Road Show should be filling the arena with people. My recommendation is to go see this show. You wont regret it !!!!!!!
it seemed real short for the price you paid. The volume was way to loud. could not enjoy it because you felt you had your ears pressed against the speakers. you could not hardly hear the lyrics.
Sorry. Not good. Perhaps we were too old. Just too loud that we couldn't hear much of the singing. Lots of talent I am certain, but not a good production. But always like the Birchmere!
I love the Yard Dogs Road Show and the Black & Blue Burlesque. I saw them at the Birchmere in 08 and was blown away. This time, however, I felt like the show was under promoted (venue was 1/3 full) and the show was much shorter than last time. The event was an hour and ten minutes, including the encore. We barely had time to order a second drink and had no time to order food. Pretty disappointed from that aspect. Otherwise, very entertaining.
Never heard of the YDRS before, but at the low price and being on the right night (only one I had free), I decided to try something new. Really glad I did. A great blend of vaudeville and burlesque! I enjoyed fun music - I really hadn't considered trombone and accordian as a mix before! Watched classic tricks and feats performed with a flair of showmanship. And, ultimately, just clapped my hands, laughed and stamped my feet to the creative performance that YDRS has pulled together. Thanks for a fun night!
The Yard Dogs are by far the most entertaining live event Ive ever been to. Do yourself a favor and see them.
