    World Inferno Friendship Society

by ERGerg on 5/23/11Webster Hall - New York

WIFS concert this past weekend at Webster Hall was fantastic. Band was energetic and wildly entertaining, as usual. Only downside was scheduling of second show forced the band off the stage too early. Bring them back soon!

    World/Inferno amazing as always

by Nichodemus on 5/23/11Webster Hall - New York

The World Inferno Friendship Society show at Webster hall was incredible as has been every one of the 16 times i've seen this band (excluding perhaps last hollowmas, but the band was in flux then). They played alot (if not all) the songs off thier new album, "The anarchy and the ecstacy" which are good, but do not take the place of thier older classic tunes. This was not enough to ruin the show or anything. I didn't stop dancing once. The sounds was great and The band sounded great, including the beautiful new addition of violin by new member rebecca. The band has a new line-up, but thats no reason to miss even a single show.

World/Inferno is one of the best live shows ever. They always are high energy and their fans are even better. It's always a fun, happy, pumped up atmosphere when they play.

    Seriously, are we surprised?

by GentiFer on 5/22/11Paradise Rock Club - Boston

World/Inferno Friendship Society, as always, put on a great show. They played a ton off the new album, and I'll admit I was worried about how it would translate live, but that was clearly dumb of me, because it was all awesome.
