When we entered the arena we were told our tickets had been relocated. We went to fan services and were told our tickets were now in a suite because there were cameras in our original seats. Yes it was nice to be in a suite but I bought 4th row seats to be close to the action. Bridgette ended up taking care of us after the 1st period and brought us back down to fan services. She took great care of us and got us seats 5 rows behind the USA bench at center ice. Bridgette was awesome and helped us out with our situation. Only thing was that there was never any cameras in our original seats so I didn't understand that. Bridgette from fan services is the reason why we enjoyed ourselves so much!
OK, so this is a sporting event and if Team Europe played Czech again then I may not be as happy. But as an overall event it was great. Well managed, quick security checks and polite staff (and even happy!). It was just a well run, slick sporting event, but then again I would expect that, being hosted at the Air Canada Center, and run by a company who's job it is to put these types of events on (NHL, NHLPA and Maple Leafs)
Overpriced!-for a hockey game-best watch on tv-don't even try to get a to -it is not worth it-also I paid $5.50--for a bottle of water!!!
The arena, the game, the bathrooms, everything connected with what happened inside the Canadian Tire Centre cannot be faulted. What can be faulted is the parking. I used car park 4 and leaving was a joke. It was not helped by ignorant drivers thinking they had the right to reverse out into the line of traffic instead of waiting. There was a lack of attendants to direct cars into the departure lanes, maybe this was due to the weather. What also did not help was having only one policeman directing pedestrians as many just crossed the road regardless of the traffic and therefore caused delays for the cars at the traffic lights.
