Great sound, aura, and sett list. Their new album came out the day of the show and they played most of their old songs. Very cool sound and you wish they never ended. My only complaint was the length of the show. I think they played for a little over an hour. But what do you expect for twelve bucks. Bottom line, go see these guys.
I was Sooooo looking forward to seeing the Shjips& they were Great! great band, great sound, great show. The extra bonus was the Birds of Maya, a trio from Philly with a powerful sound and stage presence! 3 songs in 50 minutes!!!! Awesome! nice guys too! Can't wait to see them again. They took the stage the bassists removed his shoes & I feared the worst! Thank god I was wrong!! These type of psychedelic shows can be "challenge" if the place, bands, sound men, are not in sync, thank god it was all in line. Go see these two bands next time, and the venue was very nice too. Looking forward to more cool shows & Soon!!!
