Women In Comedy Tickets

The two headliners, trying to be droll, were neither amusing nor original. Had to sit through endlessly boring video of them learning bridge. Asking question of each performer was a stupid idea. Sometimes I could barely decipher their words--bad use of mics--since they spoke to each other. Three out of 7 special guest standups were just okay, others not so much. Hard to believe ALL these women had nothing to say about current politics. Instead, the usual about being fat, drinking to excess, boyfriend tribulations, being single, blow jobs, etc. All need to SERIOUSLY step up their game, and write EDGY material. I wanted desperately to be wowed by them, and to have a real belly laugh or two, but sadly they seemed to just "phone it in." (Best joke lines were by Chanel Ali and Kendra Cunningham.) Overall grade C-, which is charitable.
