Winnipeg Jets History
The Winnipeg Jets were founded in 1997 as the Thrashers, and began play in the 1999–2000 NHL season, spending 11 seasons in Atlanta and making the playoffs once in 2006-2007. In 2011, the franchise was sold to True North Sports and Entertainment, which relocated the team to Winnipeg and adopted the name of the city's original franchise in the World Hockey Association, the Jets.
Major league hockey dates back to 1972 in Winnipeg, which was home to one of the founding franchises of the WHA and one of four (along with Quebec, Hartford and Edmonton) to join the NHL when the leagues merged in 1979. The original Jets moved to Phoenix in 1996 and became the Phoenix Coyotes (now the Arizona Coyotes). In the 12 seasons that the Jets have been in Winnipeg, they’ve made six playoff appearances, including a run to the Western Conference Finals in 2018.
In 2016, the team established the Winnipeg Jets Hall of Fame, with the "Hot Line" trio of Anders Hedberg, Bobby Hull and Ulf Nilsson as the inaugural inductees. Recent inductees include Teemu Selänne and Teppo Numminen.

The Winnipeg Jets’ 2023–24 regular season kicks off in October at Scotiabank Saddledome, when the Jets face off against the Calgary Flames. The Jets play their final game of the regular season at home against Western Conference rivals the Vancouver Canucks. Here’s a list of key games to keep an eye on:

Easy sailing to get in and out of this venue! Kind, helpful people working Security, Bars, Guest Services! This includes Hockey Games, and concerts. I travel the world and have been to several arenas….none compare.
I brought my 10 year old great Grandson to the game. We both enjoyed it so much, especially the win.
The top floor was good say everything and the staff weee friendly
The venue was super great and the atmosphere and people were super. We got high fives from other Toronto Maple leafs fans. During and after and definitely will go again in Winnipeg
Too many drunks, and lot of profanity from them. Long wait outside to get in the building, no control from workers

Great time watching the Winnipeg Jets beat the Minnesota Wild last week! Cool atmosphere, great food and exceptional hockey!
It was a really good time for anyone who wanted to go
Really enjoyed the skills contest again this year. Only suggestion - kids in the 200 section seats should see at least one of the gift throw outs.. All of them just cover the first few sections.
