    NO MOVIE NEEDED NOR ADVERTISED

    by TREKKER ALAN on 11/25/23

Showing the entire movie on a tiny screen was a total waste of time! and our money! I want a refund ! we left at the start of the questionare as we simply could not do 3-4 hours of this with a sick child at home. We only wanted to see and hear Bill, it might have been ok if he did 20-30 minutes of clips with him freezing the video to make comments, but it was set up like that and handled poorly...

He was great; VIP package sucks

by Carolyn on 11/17/23Au-Rene Theater at the Broward Center - Ft Lauderdale

William Shatner was absolutely delightful and engaging. He walked back and forth across the stage the whole time he was talking, giving everyone a chance to see him. I do wish he spoke more about his decades long and illustrious career. My complaint is the VIP package. It was poorly organized and I find it hard to believe the guy taking the pictures was a “professional photographer”. The divider between Mr. Shatner and the fans was visible; our reflections were on the plexiglass behind us & some of us had our right side cut off & that was the side next to Mr. Shatner. Save your money. The picture was expensive and an absolute waste of my husband’s hard earned money. He purchased the VIP package at the show as a surprise.

    Shatner is quite the entertainer

by Lou on 11/13/23Au-Rene Theater at the Broward Center - Ft Lauderdale

At 92, Bill Shatner reminisces, answers audience questions, walking back and forth on the stage .. rarely sitting, tells jokes, talks seriously about Earth’s precarious health. Whether you have or haven’t seen Bill .. I wholly recommend seeing his ST:2 road show ... he does not disappoint.

Willian Shatner ok, not the rest of the experience.

by Ricardo on 11/13/23Au-Rene Theater at the Broward Center - Ft Lauderdale

A very small screen for the movie: would also be nice if there was a giant video screen showing Mr. Shatner during his show. Also, the Q&A session was so poor: never was permitted to the audience to participate in real-time.

Awesome but no movie next time

by AlexB on 11/13/23Au-Rene Theater at the Broward Center - Ft Lauderdale

I didn't know what to expect but it was great. It was unnecessary to watch the entire Wrath of Kahn movie; a waste of 2 hours as I'm pretty sure most of the people in the audience already saw the movie several times. Would have been better to simply have Mr. Shatner on the stage and take questions from the audience. Also, the moderator wasn't necessary.

    Enjoyable show!

by Brad on 11/13/23Au-Rene Theater at the Broward Center - Ft Lauderdale

I enjoyed the show very much. Mr Shatner was very energetic & funny. I thought at his age he would be sitting, but he roamed the stage the entire show. Glad I finally got to see Captain Kirk in person. And of course the movie “The Wrath of Khan” is a Star Trek classic.

    Captain Kirk!

    by Deb on 11/13/23

Simply wonderful to see "The Wrath of Khan"in a big theater with a cheering, applauding crowd, followed by William Shatner walking out on stage as the entire audience rose to their feet. Honestly, we had no expectations or judgments about whatever Mr. Shatner wanted to say; it was a great experience.

    Good One Man Show

by CraigG on 11/13/23Au-Rene Theater at the Broward Center - Ft Lauderdale

I enjoyed the show. William Shatner was entertaining and I was surprised by his enthusiasm and energy for someone 92 years old. His stories were great. My only disappointment was the size of the movie screen for the showing of Star Trek 2, The Wrath of Kahn. I wish was bigger. The audio was great. I would definitely recommend this event.

Star Trek II 👍🏼, an Evening with William Shatner 👎🏼

by FilmDirector on 11/12/23Au-Rene Theater at the Broward Center - Ft Lauderdale

I’m very disappointed. It was supposed to be a Q&A and it wasn’t. Shatner rambled on about things that made no sense. He also overlapped other events that were not coinciding with what he was talking about. I found it a waste of time and money. As a VIP, you had your picture taken with Shstner behind a plexiglass which was the biggest letdown of them all. Not worth the extra money. I could’ve just watched “Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan” at home and saved myself the time, money, and energy. I had more fun listening to the Director, Nicolas Meyer two weeks earlier. Meyers was more informative about the movie-making process of “Star Trek II” and how it all came about; Shatner said nothing.

    Garbage

by RPM on 11/12/23Au-Rene Theater at the Broward Center - Ft Lauderdale

This is truly one of the worst experiences that I have had in years. Because of the screen actors strike, William Shatner said that he was not allowed to speak about Star Trek. He said that he was not even allowed to say the words, Star Trek! I paid $200 to listen to this idiot talk about technology, flying his plane to Australia, and what kind of underwear he likes. This show should have been postponed until after the screen actors strike because everyone that was in the building was there for one purpose. To show their love for Star Trek. I will never give this, moron another dime of my money! This was a complete money grab, and he should be ashamed of himself. I have lost every amount of respect for William Shatner.
