WILD BELLE IN CONCERT:
Sibling duo Wild Belle takes styles like reggae and post punk and mashes them up to create a funky pop hybrid that's greater than the sum of its parts. In concert they expand to a full band, adding a guitarist, a drummer, and two backup singers to help them set the vibe. As the group strikes up a relaxed groove, all eyes are on magnetic frontwoman Natalie Bergman, whose stunning looks and killer voice drive laid-back tropical jams like "It's Too Late" and "Happy Home" while her brother Elliot chimes in with sexy sax licks. Just as things are reaching maximum chill the band switches gears, getting fans dancing with upbeat punk-funk numbers like "Giving Up on You." Wild Belle's 2016 sophomore album Dreamland already has fans feeling irie, and ticket buyers are lining up for their much-anticipated spring headlining tour.
BACKGROUND SNAPSHOT:
Chicago-born Elliot and Natalie Bergman grew up in a musical family playing clarinet and violin, respectively. While attending college at University of Michigan Elliot formed the afrobeat band Nomo, and the group was often joined on tour by a teenage Natalie on tambourine and backing vocals. It was during this time that she started to develop as a songwriter, penning tunes on the road that eventually caught her brother's ear. After she lent her vocals to a Noma song, the siblings decided to break off and start their own project. They made their debut as Wild Belle in 2013 with the album Isles, an auspicious slice of island-tinged reggae pop featuring catchy songs that made their way into films like The Way, Way Back and Pitch Perfect. Following several years of touring they returned to the studio to work on their follow-up album Dreamland, an aptly-titled collection that promises big things for the pair in 2016.

The show was fantastic!! They are such a cool band. I'm so in love with Natalie's voice and stage presence. She's one of a kind. I haven't stopped watching her videos since the show and I CAN'T GET HER OUT OF MY HEAD!! Her voice, their tune, rhythm, sax, bongos, all of them. Beautiful stuff. Thank you!
The vibes were just like their music, chill. The crowd was a BK crowd, dance-y and fun! The venue was awesome.
Wild Belle was fantastic! I would recommend seeing them live to anyone. The lead singer has a fantastic voice and the band sounds great. I hope they continue to gain popularity!
First album is great and hey rocked live. The dude absolutely wails on the baritone sax. Wish the set was longer, but they only have the one album so not much they can do. Looking forward to seeing them again.
