The performances were excellent, the dialogue very clever, and the plot line delightful. Very reminiscent of "Lend Me a Tenor." What a fun way to spend an afternoon!
Funny and entertaining but not for the ultra-conservative crowd...
I thought "What the Butler Saw" was well presented by CATCO, but it's too dated to amuse modern audiences. Jokes about rape and doctors feeling up the women under their care are offensive. I was with a party of seven. We all left at the intermission.
While there were funny moments and the acting was OK the premise was lame and the entire play was silly. certainly was not worth $40+ per person. I would not recommend it to anyone else. CATCO needs to do a better job of selecting plays and I should have researched the play more before buying tickets.
I loved this show. The acting was fantastic, it flowed beautifully, and everyone around me laughed like there was no tomorrow! I would see this again and again.

Funny satire of the 60's and hypocrisy of the times. Jonathan Putnam is again delightful and spot on with his acting. He never ever fails to give it his all... Would love to see him in more acting roles; so enjoyable. Memorable policeman, Dr Rance and the young page boy.
