They spent too much time establishing the future scenario. Once they started with Fandango and Scaramouche, it was so much FUN!! This musical is especially fun for people who not only know the music of Queen, but also are familiar enough with modern music to catch all the hysterical references to songs and stars in the show. It was worth the lag at the beginning to enjoy the rest of the show.

by Colesnana on 10/31/13Cadillac Palace - ChicagoSo much better than I thought it would be. Had not read anything about it, so I didn't know the plot. The costumes were impressive, and the voices blew me away. Loved the way they saved Bohemian Rhapsody until you didn't think you would hear it.
