    Great Soccer experience

by Anorakaria on 3/7/14ESPN Wide World of Sports Hess Sports Field - Lake Buena Vista

Small crowds with these teams prepping for the upcoming season. Lots of fun being so close to the field and the players make the experience uniques compared to a huge stadium. My daughter loved it and we will go every year they have it

Pre-Season; NYRB vs. Montreal, Toronto vs. Orlando

by JDRod on 3/6/14ESPN Wide World of Sports Hess Sports Field - Lake Buena Vista

As a Red Bulls fan who's never been able to see them play in person, I was awe-struck at the great seats we were able to get at the Wide World of Sports. I was able to take great pictures of the guys in action, and seeing players like Henry, Steele, Olave, Sam, and Di Vaio up close was just a fantastic experience. Got close to meeting Michael Bradley and Dwayne DeRosario during the TFC match as well. Would definitely recommend to any MLS fan who's in Orlando for the pre-season.

Great opportunity to see MLS teams and high-quality soccer action up close, and in a low-key, family-friendly atmosphere. Great venue, good sightlines - right on top of the action. A fun evening out!

Game was great and exciting. Food was expensive, but that's to be expected at Disney.

Walt Disney Pro Soccer Classic was great!

by Jason1976 on 2/28/13ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex - Kissimmee

This tournament brought some great teams of the MLS to the city of Orlando, but nothing being seeing the hometown heroes, Orlando City, do their. Great, clean facilities. Big improvements over last year. Loved the food trucks. The only downfall was the beer selections. Bud Light? Bud? Just awful. I drank water the entire time.

Florida is also for soccer "Spring Training "

by DCUnitedTilEyeDie on 2/25/13ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex - Kissimmee

Great place. Great weather. Great "futbol" as teams were preparing for the start of their regular season. Disney even had local, private food trucks on site selling great seafood-fare. It was very low-key, but totally professionally-run.

ROWDIES are the BEST TIME in ANY TOWN!

by NewPortRichey on 2/11/13ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex - Kissimmee

The games were incredible. It was exciting to see MLS teams in person. Great to see Long Tan and Rob Valentino again, even if they do play for Orlando. The BEST time was seeing our TAMPA BAY ROWDIES together again. The trialists look pretty good. GOALIE ANDREW FONTEIN was FABULOUS! Now for my venue review: Disney/ESPN needs to change one of the men's rooms to a ladies room when there are THOUSANDS of cheerleaders and women's field hockey players and their events going on at the same time! I gave up and went into the men's room. None of the men objected, and a few brave ladies followed me. This shouldn't have to happen. You also need to OPEN MORE HANDICAP PARKING SPACES--maybe the first two columns closest to the LOOOONG SIDEWALK that leads to the regular parking lot. My husband is a cardiac patient and we had to stop several times to rest--especially at the end of the day. Concessions: we waited over half an hour AFTER WE PLACED OUR ORDER to get our food--and that was at 11:30! and I'm sure you've heard the $$$ complaint--no excuse for this price gouging. Only 2 food trucks? Are you kidding? Lines at them were 45 min. to an hour all day long. Staff: Very friendly and efficient ushers. I thanked each maintenance crew I saw for doing such an incredible job of keeping the place clean and stocked. We also appreciated that you didn't clear the venue as predicted between sessions.
