by Momofsoon2be3 on 4/25/17Walnut Street Theatre - Philadelphia

The production was very well put together! It kept the attention of both my 4 year old and his 7 year old friend...they both haven't been able to stop talking about it since! The characters, costumes, scenes and music where phenomenal! Overall this was an outstanding performance.

    Skippy was a Hoot!

by RJsNana on 4/21/17Walnut Street Theatre - Philadelphia

My great nephew and I had read countless times the adventures of Skippyjon Jones and were delighted to find that the Walnut had a stage production. It was wonderful to see his excitement and hear him laugh at what occurred on the stage. The most wonderful part was that it invited parents and children alike to interact with the characters as the story evolved. I heard my little one a few times exclaim; "Awesome!".

Skippyjon Jones: This play captured our attention

by mommitymom on 4/18/17Walnut Street Theatre - Philadelphia

My grandson, who is 8 years old, and I went to see this play. From the moment the lights went down to the end we never spoke, we laughed out loud, we chuckled to ourselves, we smiled a lot. When the play was over we stood up and I got the biggest reward when he said he thought it was a very cool play and he thanked me! Better yet, this guy doesn't usually say much, but when we got to his house he went right up to his mother and told her about it. Thank you Skippyon Jones and the wonderful polished and talented cast. The Skippyjon Jones character was awesome! Actually everyone was.

Skippyjon Jones Perfect for Children Under 8

by PhillyPhan8 on 4/11/17Walnut Street Theatre - Philadelphia

If you want to give a theater experience to your children, but do not want Broadway prices, this is perfect. Designed for children, keeps them amused and entertained. Good story line, follows the book and children can play along. An hour is a perfect length and seeing the characters afterwards was so much fun! Walnut Street Theater knows children.

Skippyjon Jones tickets were part of our grandson's birthday gift. He had a great time at the show because he had read the book and loved to see the scenes in action.

    Skippyjon Jones Musical

by Sharule on 4/4/17Walnut Street Theatre - Philadelphia

My kids and I have been huge fans of the Skippyjon Jones series. The books are exceptionally well written adventures of the imagination that expose young children to Spanish language and culture while also being hilarious. The play started off a lil slow but gained momentum in the last half hour. I was especially disappointed that skippy was portrayed by a female and I thought they could've casted some more people of Latin decent. But overall is was an above average production that I would recommend to fans of the series.
