About

We begin 1978 with tickets to Dean Martin at the Latin Casino! When a severe blizzard blankets the East Coast, Dino's band gets stuck out of town. Rather than disappoint his fans, Dean Martin brings us an intimate evening filled with personal stories and classic songs including, "Ain't That A Kick In The Head," "Everybody Loves Somebody," "That's Amore" and more. For a short while, the man behind the legend reveals the humor, warmth and casual cool that marked his rise from his Italian-only speaking immigrant childhood to become one of the biggest legends in entertainment.

    Just ok

While the show was entertaining enough I did not feel as if I spent the Night with Dean Martin. It was difficult sitting thru the entire Show - was happy it was only an hour and a half.

I expected him to at least sound like Dino. Disappointed to say the least.

    Exceptional performance!

by RPParalegal on 6/21/13Walnut Street Theatre - Philadelphia

It is so refreshing to find a show that is so entertaining, skillfully arranged and professionally performed like Dino. The music of the past has so much meaning and Nat Chandler was the perfect performer, with his Broadway background, to enhance the lyrics. What a remarkable tribute to the amazing Dean Martin! Thank you, Nat!

    Great work about Dino

by Anonymous on 6/15/13Walnut Street Theatre - Philadelphia

A marvelous work on the life of Dean. While his voice did not approach the real Dino's voice, the mannerisms were right on the mark. The setting was perfect--a small cabaret type theater. Well worth seeing. Get there early as it is open seating.

Dino was enjoyable and a great night out.

by Anacan on 6/3/13Walnut Street Theatre - Philadelphia

I thoroughly enjoyed the play Dino! If people are looking for a Dean Martin impersonator this is not the venue but the actor did a an amazing job singing. I learned a lot about Dean Martin's life and the venue was wonderful and up close. Felt like I was in a supper club to see a big name entertainer. Piano player was awesome too!

    Dino

by WKRX on 5/30/13Walnut Street Theatre - Philadelphia

Singing was okay. Too much talking, talked too much in the middle of songs. Needs more Dean Martin songs (the ones he popularized - see his greatest hits albums). Just more songs less talk. We understand the unique "circumstances" at the Latin Casino, but there is no snow and we are ready to be entertained with song!
