by Rockingbabe on 7/25/12Walnut Street Theatre - PhiladelphiaAttended on Saturday 7/21 and show was due to close next day. Lots of great merchandise at low prices because of that. My friend got a hat marked down to a $1 that was previously $12. I was introduced to Holly's music by my late brother and the actor who played Buddy was spot on. The supporting actors were fantastic. The crowd was on their feet by the end of the show which included an encore. It was neat because the woman who played his wife actually WAS his wife in real life. I was able to save some money on the seating due a special WST offer as well. Always a great time at the Walnut.

So we bought tickets to the last Sunday matinee. Our friends were right. The only thing not great about the whole performance was the seats we bought were much better than our subscription seats!!!
