    It was really good!

    by Matthew on 3/6/24

This was my first WWE PLE and I got tickets in section 220. The matches were okay I loved the Steel City Street Fight and seeing Jey Uso returning was like a dream come true. I think I did pretty good with the seating. My only problem was that when I was looking at the screen suspended above the ring there was a beam blocking most of my view but other than that the event was amazing! I hope to see another WWE PLE in Pittsburgh again!

    Good show

by Mike on 9/23/23PPG Paints Arena - Pittsburgh

Overall it was a good exciting show to watch. I was disappointed in the the location of the new PPG paints arena's new video board. We had seats in the 200 level and expected to catch certain things on the video screen for a closer look. It was lifted so high in the rafters, it was bearly viewable. Other than that, John Cena played a great host, and all the matches were really exciting.

An exciting event with some underwhelming matches.

by Miguel on 9/8/23PPG Paints Arena - Pittsburgh

I found the pay-per-view to be entertaining and exciting with matches like the Steel City Street Fight and the Steel Cage match being highly fun, all the performers involved did a tremendous job. Some of the other matches and events on the card, like the U.S. Title Match and the "Grayson Waller Effect"were underwhelming and felt like they belonged on a regular weekly episode of RAW or SmackDown and not on a pay-per-view event, especially because they happened just a few weeks prior on said weekly programs. It was also unfortunate that there were some very drunk people in the crowd, and while this isn't the WWE's fault, I think visibly intoxicated people should not be allowed to enter the arena.

    Awesome

by Jennifer on 9/6/23PPG Paints Arena - Pittsburgh

WWE PayBack was a fun experience. The wrestlers and the fans reaction to it all made this night one I won’t forget. When they come again I’d go.

Amazing Experience but those lights & food portions

by leahpea on 9/6/23PPG Paints Arena - Pittsburgh

It was easy to get it with our tickets on Apple Wallet, the arena was pretty clean. Despite the huge crowds, it seemed to go pretty seamlessly upon entry. Event itself was amazing with our view from Section 208, Row H pretty decent for the first Pay Per View in Pittsburgh in over 5 years. Most if not all of the matches were spectacular, held our attention, and kept us entertained the whole time. The wrestlers did an absolutely amazing job especially with the Pittsburgh Easter eggs and shout-outs during the show. A couple negatives, the upper rows of spotlights, food portion inconsistency, & ticket purchasing. For some reason, they had spotlights pointing directly out into the crowd and right into our eyes for the entire show. Multiple people around us mentioned the same thing at some point and it obstructed our view as well as messed up pictures. When my husband and I got french fries from primanti's, we got a stingy little scoop but the person at the register next to us got a mounding scoop. With the prices, the portions should be consistent across registers whether we all got the little scoop or mounding scoop. Lastly, when I went to purchase the tickets initially, the site wouldn't let me purchase two seats in a better section because it would've left one seat empty. Fast forward to the day of the event and we saw lots of groups of 3 seats empty, I'm assuming from the exact scenario.

Was my first PLE, Seats were good, venue was very nice, just didn't like driving in the city. But had a very good time.

    Amazing

by Nick on 9/5/23PPG Paints Arena - Pittsburgh

Although I’ll give the PPV a B+, it was awesome to be there. Haven’t gone to a WWE event in 8 years and this is the first PPV (Premium Live Event as they call it now) i’ve attended. The crowd was hyped the whole night and WWE definitely put on a show.

    Strong open, soft landing

by Archer on 9/5/23PPG Paints Arena - Pittsburgh

The beginning cage match was one of the best women’s matches in recent memory, having Cena on the show was an added attraction, however the main event was lacking in action and buildup.
