About

VINNIE PAZ IN CONCERT:

Innovative rap genius Vinnie Paz has been defying the mainstream since 1996 with his genre-bending heavy metal hip-hop. Whether he's spitting controversial rhymes or doing call-and-response on "End of Days", Paz and his hype men are masters of their craft who know how to create a truly unique and memorable concert experience for fans. Paz treats ticket buyers to varied setlists on tour that include fresh material from his solo act as well as older indie rap hits from his days as the frontman for Jedi Mind Tricks and Army of the Pharaohs.

BACKGROUND SNAPSHOT:

Philly-bred hip-hop act Vinnie Paz, a.k.a. Vincenzo Luvineri, got his start at age 16 penning lyrics and honing his craft with fellow rapper and friend Stoupe. Together the duo formed Jedi Mind Tricks and released their debut The Psycho-Social, Chemical, Biological & Electro-Magnetic Manipulation of Human Consciousness. Six more highly acclaimed albums followed before the group parted ways in 2011. Paz went on to form new hip-hop act Army of the Pharaohs and record four albums under the name, including 2014's In Death Reborn. He's also had a successful solo career with the releases Prayer for the Assassin and Carry On Tradition as well as a string of tours over the course of his decade-spanning run. On tour Paz wows with a hard-hitting collection of metal-meets-rap jams that's continually growing his diverse fanbase.

    Real Hip Hop

by OriginalBBoy on 5/9/14Paradise Rock Club - Boston

When entering the Pardise the feeling of a real Hip Hop show was in the air. Everyone was showed real recognize real and completely showed loved for Zilla, who killed it in his own right and then onto AOTP. I'm an old cat in a young Hip Hop/rap world and thought that nights Hip Hop Culture showed promise that Hip Hop has not died. Hip Hop lived when AOTP entered the buildng. This show minus the break dancers and graffiti artist (which im a former of both) it reminded me a the original Fresh Festivals that used to cross the country when Hip Hol and I were young. Peace goes out to all in attendance, and peace goes out to Vinnie Paz and the rest of Army of the Pharoas.

    AOTP at their finest!

by bleedgreen17 on 5/6/14Paradise Rock Club - Boston

This was hands down the best show I've ever been to. The amount of energy they brought was untouched by anyone and was an epic night. AOTP brings the real hip-hop of the 90's era and are the best crew doing it without question. Super group full of legendary MC's.
