Victory Fighting was a great event. In person, it didn't seem all that different from UFC. Buying close seats for an MMA event is well worth the extra expense; although Victory makes this option quite affordable. Baxter is a good venue.
Then the action started. Victory fighting did an excellent job of keeping the excitement level high. Great music and entertainment. Baxter Arena is the perfect location.
Exciting fights and a great look at the next stars of UFC. Been going to MMA events for years, and this is by far the best. So glad they got picked up by UFC FightPass
I went to VFC at Baxter Arena on 1/29/16. I enjoyed the fights and the Arena was nice as well. I'm glad to see VFC on UFC Fightpass now.
The fights they put together were all really boring. They didn't match guys up well and most of the fights ended in the first round. The ones that didn't, were really boring to watch. Even in the main event, Joe Ellenburger looked like he never worked out before in his life. He was gassed after the first round and never showed any life. It was the most boring title fight that went 5 rounds that I have ever watched in my life. Overall I'm sure that they have put better fights together and I'm sure they will in the future, but Friday was the biggest waste of money.
