Why a boring evening for me. I had heard so much about this play that I was so excited to finally score tickets. It never grabbed me. Did not find it funny, emotional, or heart wrenching. I cry at photos of puppies and kittens, but even what were supposed to be the most heartfelt and soulful scenes left me flat. Never again.
The show was funny. However, I have been to 2 others that were by far better. Also the show started late, around 8:15 but ended at the projected time. For the price I feel like I shoud have gone to a different show.
I loved it! I've seen the original and have read the book, but a live performance is always the best. So we had my mother(69), me(47), and my daughter(21). Great show!
The ladies via The Vagina Monologues did women justice!!! Loved it!!!
The show was not entertaining. If there wasn’t such a small crowd, we would have left.
I bought the tix before I knew the housewives were performing. Keyna Moore and Ashley Darby were amazing. Teresa Giudice was terrible. Maybe she would have been better if she had read the prose first. And she was so unprofessional that she would break character to address the audience, which brought recognition to her and took away from the overall performance. But that's what she does on Housewife.
Show was very good - Funny, thoughtful, sad. Great girls night out. Not crazy about the venue - too hard to see the stage. They should have used the screens to show people in the back.
I would spend your money on something else. New Jersey housewife looked nervous and did not read well.
Two of the ladies in this show were amazing and very talented, but the third was unprepared and just awful. The third lady, some real housewife from New Jersey?, had obviously never seen the script before and, as a weak reader, was unable to read the script in a way that made sense. The venue (Andiamo's showroom) was noisy and distracting. A man was talking very loudly behind us and the staff didn't do anything until we complained (in the process we missed an entire monologue). We won't ever attend another performance in the this venue, and frankly we felt ripped off by this performance.
This show was just 3 of the Housewives sitting and reading from a script then walking off the stage. The subject matter was not funny but rather more serious.
