V101/WDIA Valentine's Show Tickets

The entire concert was excellent. The Jones Girls, Zapp and Confunkshun were still as good as they were back in the day. BUT, Lakeside has and always will be my favorite. They were excellent. Good to see Otis back.

It was a great old school over 45 yrs of age concert. It was an unforgettable night for a party. The line up was fantastic. The music brought back so many good memories. The atmosphere had folks giving high fives and just grinning about " I remember this song". The party can not be duplicated. My only regret was that the HEADLINERS " Confunkson" was cheated on time. I hope this show will be repeated but give the HEADLINERS time to perform. The Jones Girls were not announced. Elimanate them and give the bands more time. It should have beeen an old school BAND concert.

The show was AWESOME!! I did expect to hear to "real love" by lakeside.

GREAT event My Husband and I ENJOYED it from the beginning to end.

Please bring Zapp back next time... I really enjoyed the entire show.

I have to give it to Zapp and Confunkshun, they turn it out. They song their love songs, which is what the night was about. Lakeside could have song more love songs. That was my only disappointment.

I thouhgt the whole show was spectacular. That was the best old school party I have been to in years.

I would recommend this concert when ever it comes to your area. I would rate it more than 5 stars. Con Funk, and Lakeside were the next best in that order. When Lakeside came out in ther pirate suits it took me back when I seen them while stationed at Ft Hood.

The overall Show did not meet my expectation ( Jones sister struggled to completed her act, Lakesides performance had our ears ringing all night until the next day). The event started late which was not well however Zapp was outstanding.

All the groups were good but Zapp was outstanding they still have the moves and the sound.
