The show was fun and entertaining. There were four players, but I feel for the price of the tickets perhaps there could be an additional set of players to break things up !!! A fun evening.

    Terrific venue and great show

by U2FanBoston on 10/17/17Valley Performing Arts Center - Northridge

First time at Valley Performing Arts Center and was very impressed. Great venue for the arts and wonderful seating and stage. UCB was fantastic improv and we had a great time. Fortunate to have them to come to us in The Valley. Would see them again without any hesitation....really fun night.

talented at improv, but sophomoric humor

    by kathyjj29 on 4/29/14Wilbur Theatre - Boston

They obviously have terrific improv skills, and we appreciated seeing the players' ability to fly from one character and situation to another. However, the main theme of the second half was a penis from a horror movie. One Tremors penis joke we could've handled; 40 minutes of it and we were more than ready to leave.

    Not worth the price

by carouselbabs on 3/25/14Carolina Theatre - Durham

I love improve shows. I've been to more than my fair share of them. I had high hopes for this one. Unfortunately, I was disappointed. I had a few chuckle but definitely not worth the price of admission.

    Amateurish. Left after an hour

by PatandJ on 3/24/14Carolina Theatre - Durham

Boring. This little improve group needs a lot more practice in a small club venue before coming to a large audience in the Carolina Theater. Guess I've gotten used to the high-caliber CT offers. This group of amateurs spent the first 30 min conversing with just one audience member. We heard everything about her teaching career, wedding plans, etc. I left to go to the rest room and they were still chatting when I returned. By the time the entertainment started, I was too annoyed to care. And then they only repeated everything we'd already heard. Left early.

    Fun Evening! Impressive Cast!

by ScubaPookster on 3/24/14Carolina Theatre - Durham

The cast was awesome! It was intriguing to watch how they can take information from someone in the audience and improv so effortlessly...we were greatly impressed!

The overall performance was exceptional. Hard to believe that 3 people can give a performance that is that entertaining, funny and go so smoothly when it is an improv show- obviously cannot be rehoused. It was just a great night of fun for me, the fiends with me and it appeared the entire audience.

    not so much....

    by california85 on 3/24/14Carolina Theatre - Durham

They were funny, but in a luke warm sort of way...maybe the subject line, 1st grade teacher material. They had their moments, and some of our opinions (5 of us in the group) could have been altered because of a distance issue and the chatty group sitting in front of us. We all voted to leave during intermission. One member of our group said it all, "I get more laughs at work." The seats were too far from the stage to really feel engaged in the show. Didn't look bad on the ticketmaster seating chart, but that was deceptive. Balcony seats were over head, not behind. I wasn't the only one who interpreted the seating chart that way. Anyway, not a good bang for the buck....

Unbelievably funny and consistent improv comedy. This crew worked well together and offered a wide array of styles throughout the entire show. There's a reason UCB is the launching pad for so many amazing comedic actors - they have quality players committed to excellence. Fantastic.
