    It was ok.

by montyl on 9/8/15Red Hat Amphitheater - Raleigh

The sets were a bit short. They could get rid of one of these bands maybe and create longer sets. Uncle Cracker was surprisingly good, Eve 6 sounded pretty good as well as did BTW. Sugar Ray however sounded like an amateur act at best. That was sad for me as they used to put on a great show back in the day. It was out of key and flat. Mark was a great host however.

Great show! Wanted it to keep going! Would have loved a longer set from Better Than Ezra too.

Under the Sun 2015 - Raleigh, NC, August 28

by Wakulla on 8/31/15Red Hat Amphitheater - Raleigh

What a wonderful time my husband and I had at the Under the Sun 2015 tour date in Raleigh, NC. All of the bands were as awesome as we remembered them. It brought back many wonderful memories of the 90's listening to some of our favorite songs from Better than Ezra and Sugar Ray. The night started with Eve 6, who put on a great performance. They were followed by Uncle Kracker, who put on an equally great performance. Our favorite of the night was Better Than Ezra. Wow! Haven't seen them perform since the late 90's in Pensacola, Fl, and they lived up to our expectations. Love those cajun boys. Then there was Sugar Ray. Mark McGrath and the guys finished the night with a wonderful performance of their hits from the 90's. We won't miss this one next year.

Overall good show, 4 bands for $42 a ticket...

by ATLred68 on 8/31/15Chastain Park Amphitheatre ASO - Atlanta

Would have been nice if we could have taken coolers into the venue. Not sure why because there wasn't hardly anyone there. I blame that on lack of advertising. I only knew about it two days before the show thanks to an email from Chastain Park. You could tell that the bands were disappointed to playing to such a small crowd when they once played to thousands back in the day. Eve 6 only played a few songs. Uncle Kracker was surprisingly really good. He probably played the longest set. Sugar Ray was awesome. Mark McGrath is quite the showman. He acted like it was a sold out show. The highlight for me was Better Than Ezra which to my disappointment was lacking. You could tell they didn't like that there weren't that many people there. I thought their performance was lack luster compared to the others before them. They just didn't seem to put forth a lot of effort. Definitely different from when I saw them in their hayday at Music Midtown.

    Under the Sun exceeded expectations

by Phil12 on 8/31/15Red Hat Amphitheater - Raleigh

Was hoping for an enjoyable show and thought the energy level may be a little reserved since the bands have been around awhile. We absolutely enjoyed every band and had a much greater time than expected. The crowd was energetic and into the show and the bands played at high intensity the whole time. The show was well put together with a very efficient changing of the equipment that only took about 10-15 minutes. My only complaint is I wish the bands would have played a little longer, maybe 1 more song each....Eve 6 only played for 30 minutes. Better than Ezra; very entertaining band and funny. Enjoyed the clip of "I can't Feel my Face" and the parody of "Sarah Smile" as well as allowing women on the stage.

    Flashback to the 90's

by Mellis1968 on 8/31/15Red Hat Amphitheater - Raleigh

Good show, great venue. Sugar Ray was fun and sounded great, Better Than Ezra was a great band with a fun party feel, Uncle Kracker is my favorite but his voice sounded shot, he's still cool though! The crew had it down to a science, prepping all the equipment between bands, no lull. Super fun night!

    Amazing show !

by Dentalhygienistgirle on 8/29/15Chastain Park Amphitheatre ASO - Atlanta

Absolutely loved reliving the late 90s with this concert! Amazing band lineup. I just wish that the is event was advertised more than they did because the turnout wasn't great. I didn't hear about this show at all on the radio or on the Chastain site, which is how I usually find shows I want to see. Work on advertising better next time, but I hope this tour returns next year!!

Better Than Ezra- my favorite !

by AC444 on 8/29/15Chastain Park Amphitheatre ASO - Atlanta

Awesome show. My favorites of the four are Better than Ezra and Eve 6. However Sugar Ray was very high energy and got the crowd going. Love the venue and the weather was perfect. Took my 15 year old daughter and she loved it too. She has heard a lot of the music riding in the car with me over the years. Sad that Better Than Ezra did not play Porcelain.

    Excellent time!!

    by Micheeore69 on 8/27/15The Paramount - Huntington

Obviously Sugar Ray stole the show, by far, but all the bands that were there were awesome! The Paramount is one of my favorite venues to go see a show, and this is my 2nd time seeing this tour there. I will definitely go again next year!

This is the second year that I've gone to this tour, and it was fantastic as usual. Each group killed it with their own songs as well as a few covers to really make you nostalgic for the 90's. I would absolutely reccomend going to see the Under The Sun tour.
