    Tyler Perry was AMAZING!!!

by RCheezy on 5/18/16Ovens Auditorium - Charlotte

My family loves Tyler Perry, and we were first introduced to his work with "The Diary of a Mad Black Woman". Ever since, we have watched his movies and plays and make it a point to go to the theatre when they are playing. We found out his play was coming to Charlotte, NC and we HAD to see it. There is no descriptive word good enough to express how much we enjoyed the performance, acting, singing, tributes, jokes, real life occurrences, etc. We would love to see his performance again and would highly recommend everyone watch his shows, plays, etc. because they are worth watching. You might learn something and realize something within yourself as well. Thank you Tyler Perry, and thank you Ovens Auditorium for hosting his performance!

    First play

    by Sapphire920 on 5/8/16Chrysler Hall - Norfolk

This was the first play I have seen live. It was so amazing. The cast was awesome and it was good to see new talent.I took my mother as an early Mother's Day gift. The look on her face was priceless. Seeing her happy made it all worth while. We will definitely make this a ritual.

A Excellent Play! Great Messages and Actors!!!

by Scorpio22 on 5/7/16Lawrence Joel Veterans Memorial Coliseum - Winston Salem

This is an amazing play and filled with lots of messages and fun. Tyler Perry plays are definitely an excellent experience and something everyone should attend. His messages delivered throughout the play and the singing and actors are amazing. Aunt Bam and Madea are the highlights of the play and so funny, but I love the fact that Tyler Perry develops characters in which you can relate to them or you can hate them, lol. I love all of his shows and plays. He is an amazing writer and I definitely love the fact that he gives people an opportunity to fulfill their dreams and be successful. Save and go see a Tyler Perry play.

    Excellent

    by JCA2286 on 5/6/16Chrysler Hall - Norfolk

It was great fun!! Tyler Perry is awesome....love how he interacts with the audience. my only complaint was that he sometimes talks fast, and his microphone was a little loud, so he as difficult to understand at times.

BEST SHOW I'VE EVER SEEN LIVE!

    by StephMck210 on 5/6/16Chrysler Hall - Norfolk

From the moment you sit down to the end of the show you do not stop laughing! It is absolutely hilarious! If you don't like to laugh and have a good time this is NOT FOR YOU! Tyler Perry is the most humble man! At the end of the show he thanked everyone for coming and all of the support! Not many people do that these days! I HIGHLY recommend this! I am counting down the days to see another one!

Tyler Perry plays, when he stars in them, are the best & funniest plays you ever want to attend. If you haven't seen one yet, make it a bucket list item. He also recruits the best singing talents.

    Run back to us Madea!!

by mssb03 on 5/6/16Lawrence Joel Veterans Memorial Coliseum - Winston Salem

This play could not have been better!!! It is Broadway-worthy- even without choreographed dance numbers! The music is great, the singing phenomenal, and the cast consummate professionals! The show was tailored to our city because there was mention of malls and neighborhoods specific to us! Madea interacted with the audience, and even broke character sometimes when the humor was even too much for her to stand!! There are moments of encouragement and wisdom seldom seen in any other stage productions. And we especially love the old-school music throwbacks that get the audience singing along! It was a mixed crowd and it just proves that everybody loves Madea!! Thanks for coming to Winston-Salem! We had a phenomenal time!!
