    Not Worth It

by Jan1946 on 10/13/14Beacon Theatre - New York

I'm a big fan of Tyler Perry stage plays, but this one lacked it. Cheryl Pepsi Riley is a great performer, but her performance was 2nd to Patrice Lovely who should have been listed as the lead performer. Also, the ticket prices were EXTREMELY over priced. For that kind of pricing Tyler or a well known actor/actress should have been in the play. This play should have skipped the live audience performance at the theatre and went straight to DVD.

    HORRIBLE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    by Kellygurl37 on 10/9/14NJPAC - Newark

I do not know where to begin with this “HORRIBLE” stage play! The tickets were overpriced; the play was full of shucking and jiving, poor acting and not so great music. (Except the gospel) I believe that Tyler Perry has outgrown his stage play productions and she focus on movies. I was totally disappointed! WOW………

Tyler Perry's Hell Hath No Fury is a worth a trip

    by MistyMae7 on 9/15/14Paramount Theatre - Oakland

Great voices, loved the music (waiting for the soundtrack), appreciated the message. Go see it. The production seemed a little rough around the edges--the sound at the Paramount seemed over amplified and interfered with some of the dialogue. That was my only complaint. The attention to (and, of course FROM) the audience added a lot. A unique Oakland experience. Glad I got to see it.

    Skip this one...

by Anonymous on 9/10/14William Saroyan Theatre Fresno Convention & Entertainment Center - Fresno

A mediocre cast with pitchy vocals, unforgettable dialogue and a grade F light casting crew. The ticket sales were slim and severely overpriced, the venue full of late coming & going guest and the script highly forgettable. I found the play's portrayal of African Americans and culture very stereotypical, unprogressive and particularly uncomfortable. Tyler Perry once again proves that money doesn't always translate to success.

    GREAT SHOW!!!

by SCSFIELDS on 5/13/14Chrysler Hall - Norfolk

After having to wait for the rescheduled event because of January's snow storm it was well worth the wait!!! My husband and I used the event to celebrate not only mother's day but our 5 year anniversary and it was the best gift ever. The actors and actresses were great and of course our favorite was Ma Hattie she is the greatest so funny. We really enjoyed ourselves. We would love to see another play come to this area of Virginia and have it feature Madea and Hattie.

    Great Experience

by ShayGold on 5/1/14BJCC - Birmingham

Went on a date to this and has to have been the best date ever. You gain dating advice and all sorts while having a good time. You laugh and get a free concert full of great vocalist. Its well worth the price not to mention the front row seats I had for an unbeatable price. There are DVD vendors after the show if you want more!

    Excellent Play!!!

by Stud0719 on 4/6/14Arie Crown Theatre - Chicago

Took My Gf with me, our 1st Live real play & it was great. Love the story line and Patrice Lively(Hattie) was hilarious through the whole thing & had us all dying laughing one of our favorite characters in his plays and tv show (love thy neighbor). Showed started right on time and love the dvds, and memorabilia they had out in the lobby, we got to take pics with the play back grounds as well. Can't wait til it comes out on dvd and any of tyler perry's new projects
