About

TWIN PEAKS IN CONCERT:

Chicago's Twin Peaks is breathing new life into glam rock with their rollicking sound, unapologetic lyrics, and over-the-top live shows. After getting off to a running start in 2013 with their debut album Sunken, the scrappy young quartet made waves with electrifying performances on tour. The band's momentum continued in 2014 with sophomore album Wild Onion, an adrenaline-fueled slice of post-glam that boasts party-starters like "Flavor" and "Telephone". A first-class live act known for bringing an infectious energy to the stage, Twin Peaks has ticket buyers eagerly awaiting the chance to catch them on one of their must-see tours.

BACKGROUND SNAPSHOT:

Twin Peaks was formed in 2012 by four Chicago high school students who took their band name from David Lynch's iconic '90s TV series. They self-recorded and self-released their debut album Sunken in 2012, supporting it with a three-week tour that they also booked on their own. The band built a dedicated following with their vigorous performances on the road, and in 2013 Sunken was re-released with wider distribution, garnering increased media attention including reviews in Pitchfork and Brooklyn Vegan. After another round of high-octane shows on tour, the band followed up in 2014 with their sophomore album Wild Onion. The album was a hit with critics and fans, earning praise for its party rock vibe, honest lyrics, and creative production touches. A fast-rising act with passion and energy to spare, Twin Peaks continues to let it all hang out with unbridled performances on tour.

    I think I died

by smashmouthdude on 9/9/16The Basement - Columbus

Crowdsurfing, stage diving madness! These dudes rock harder than anyone I know I can't wait to see them on some later dates on their tour. It was definitely the most fun I've ever had at a concert. White Reaper was an amazing opener perfectly suited for this tour I am in love with them!

    AMAZING!!!

by Essejsemaj on 5/28/16Bowery Ballroom - New York

This show was SO GOOD! Saw them live two years ago and they were great but seeing them in a larger venue they really had the audience in their hands. Wild energy. And the new songs add so muc dimension to the set. Every song was killer.

Twin Peaks ripped up the stage!!!!

by LauraandLance on 5/21/16The Sinclair - Cambridge

They had unbelievable energy and an amazing sound. I was so impressed by these young guys. Completely entertaining show and fun to be there - kind of like a crazy college party. The audience went nuts for them - lots of crowdsurfing and jumping on stage....

    Twin Peaks, great show

by Lefty961 on 10/5/13Mercury Lounge - New York

Ive read about Twin Peaks, part of the emerging young breed of dynamic contemporary musicians with their own stlye infused with a nod to the past. Along with the Orwells and Smith Western they are the leaders of this emergence. I hear a bit of TRex, Thin Lizzy, and a whole lotta their own personality. Their debut release, Sunken, is a dynamic mix of well orchestrated tunes, seeing them live; this was one of the best musical performances Ive ever seen. Their enthusiasm, vocal harmony, well crafted guitar all work together so well. At 19 years old, you would think they have some rough edges, but they have been playing together for 4 years, a well oiled sychronized rock and roll quartet. See them, you will thank me.
