About

Driving guitar solos and throbbing rhythms make up the heavy metal produced by Orlando-based metalcore outfit Trivium. Since their start in 2000, the four-member band has sold more than a million albums and toured alongside other big-ticket metal acts like Iron Maiden, As I Lay Dying and GWAR, bringing fans at venues like Fillmore (Detroit), the Buckhead Theatre and Aztec Theatre to capacity.

Their most recent effort, “Vengeance Falls,” surfaced in October 2013 and landed at No. 15 on The Billboard 200, as well as in the Top 10 on Japanese and Australian album charts. Along with a discography of six full-length records and a healthy U.S. tour history, Trivium has also handled concerts throughout Europe, Japan and Australia.

For the 2006 collection “The Crusade,” Trivium frontman Matt Heafy took a slight departure from his metalcore scream to deliver more traditional singing vocals that some compared to Metallica. That album debuted at No. 25 on The Billboard 200, and Heafy went back to his signature scream for the follow-up, 2008’s “Shogun,” and subsequent releases.

Trivium put on an amazing show! This is the fourth time I've seen them, and they get better and better everytime. I highly recommend seeing them if you every get the chance.

    Fantastic!

by Alex on 6/19/23Paramount Theatre - Seattle

I was impressed by so many components of this show: the pricing, the venue, the parking collaboration, the artists, the tech crew, the lights, and so on! Anytime someone was having an issue, they were immediately helped. Also, the bands were just phenomenal! I will be looking to forward shows at Paramont as well as future shows with Malevolence, Beartooth, or Trivium.

    Wildly mediocre.

by J. Sullivan on 6/18/23Paramount Theatre - Seattle

This was the lamest show I’ve been to in many years, and I go to quite a few. First of all the sound was the exact opposite of good. It was not that thick, room filling sound that should be there for a metal show. The midrange frequencies were scooped almost completely out of the mix. The closer you got to the stage, the less you could hear any of the vocals of the whole night. Especially from Trivium. It seemed like their vocalist was having a hard time hearing himself even. He’s a very good singer and was obviously not able to be fully on point. This was also the first metal show, or show of ANY kind that I’ve been to, where a security guard was asking people to “take your hands off the rail” at the front of the stage…..so I guess everyone was just supposed to stand there with they’re hands at they’re sides letting our ribs get crushed into the rail? Completely moronic. Between the bad sound and the b-squad crew that were running things there is no way I could give this show more than 2 stars. My friend saw the same show in Vegas less than a week before and raved about how epic it sounded and how awesome that venue was. This will be the last metal show at the Paramount that I attend for a very long time.

    Incomprehensibly Spectacular

by Napalm Morgan on 6/18/23Paramount Theatre - Seattle

First time seeing Trivium. First time seeing a show at the Paramount. I missed Archtypes Collide due to traffic, but was able to catch the rest of the show. Malevolence and Beartooth both were amazing. Got the energy going and kept it going Then Trivium...there are no words... Venue was great. Staff were professional. Affordable parking was easy to find nearby. I would see a show at the Paramount again anytime.

    Best 1st Concert!

by Lofi_Ghost on 6/14/23Riverside Municipal Auditorium - Riverside

I had a blast with my friends and mom! There were a fair amount of people that were drunk, but that didn’t stop the fun! The beginning was slow and mellow, but people soon began to get pumped up, and soon enough, moshpits were forming for every song, people were head banging left and right (including me lol), we all threw our hands up in the air and sang along! It’s a night I’ll never forget, and can’t wait for my next one!

    Trivium is ALWAYS on fire!

by Ian on 6/14/23Riverside Municipal Auditorium - Riverside

Trivium sounded great, looked great, and engaged the audience. They are an amazing live band and everyone should check them out! In an era where many bands of this era are seemingly calming down, it feels like Trivium is just getting started!
