    T-Pretty Rocked

by lcls7 on 5/28/13Uptown Theatre Napa - Napa

Saw Tristen Prettyman and it was wonderful. Very intimate with acoustics only and lots of sharing from the artist with the audience. Tristin didn't disappoint. She has a fanominal voice and I felt lucky to be this close with such a super-star. She talked alot about each song and why she wrote it, her childhood and her love life. She took requests from the audience and interacted with everyone as well. She played lots of songs and all the hits and came out and did 2 ancore songs which was great. I loved the sound and our seats were good, no bad seat in the house really. Everything about Uptown is exceptional; great place to see a headliner upclose!

Tristan was amazing! Ben Taylor also great!

by Twobees on 5/27/13Uptown Theatre Napa - Napa

The show was so entertaining. Both performers were very good. I love Tristan and I had never heard Ben perform. I love just him and his guitar...like his famous Dad. I was not keen on his entry in with tech stuff, a little to out there for me. I like a great voice and a guitar and he has both, along with some great stories.

    Tristan Prettyman at First Ave

by BayerlJ on 4/18/13Fine Line Music Cafe - Minneapolis

Tristan Prettyman put on a great show at First Avenue Minneapolis. She was high energy and really happy to be there. The crowd was great and attentive. The openers were excellent also.

Clearly talented. Great venue for her style.

by Toohardtofindaname on 4/18/13Fine Line Music Cafe - Minneapolis

Show was moved to First Avenue. She has so much talent it is clear that she is not just getting by because of her previous affiliation with Mraz. The opening band Satellite came on way too late though (like over an hour after the doors opened), and they were not good. They also played too long. I didn't mind them for the first 20 minutes but after that they just got annoying. It was a great to see out local DJs right before Prettyman came out. That was a surprise for me. Again, Prettyman has an awesome voice and sounded incredible live. It was very good! She has such a strong but mellow voice--I just can't do her justice. It was a good show despite waiting so long for it to actually start.

Tristan has an amazing soulful voice. Her CD"s don't due justice to hearing her live.

    Highly Disappointed

by Recordtype on 3/19/13Brighton Music Hall - Boston

I have loved Tristan's music for a long time and never had the chance to make it to a show. Finally one fits withy schedule and it was just so under par. I don't know if it was the fact that her opening act was one of her best friends and they told jokes the whole time or the fact that they sang and joked around with their "music collaborations" which turned it into a talent show. Don't get me wrong Tristan's voice was amazing, her act and her band was terrible. The venue was not for her music either.... Standing for 8 sad love songs isn't ideal, sitting and chillin out however might have changed the mood a bit. It was like a date gone bad.
