    Terrible

I purchase 13 tickets at $40.00 ea. for our Empty Nest Group and we were all dissapointed. His vocal range was limited, the impression you got from the advetisment was that he emulated Frank Sinatra, not even close. It was just some guy singing Sinatra songs and leaving the stage during the performance to let the band play without him (I will say that the 3 piece band was very good at what they did). We all came to the performance expecting to hear someone that sort of sounded like Frank Sinatra and at least in Sinatra's style, we got neither. His style was his own and a poor one at that.

    Tribute To Frank Sinatra

This concert was more Wayne Newton meets Elvis Presley and then sings Frank Sinatra. If anything, we had a good chuckle and something to talk about over dinner.

Awful Awful Tribute To Frank Sinatra

by CINCOFROMSB on 5/17/11Scherr Forum - Thousand Oaks Civic Arts Plaza - Thousand Oaks

Worst show I have seen in years. The piano player was outstanding, the drummer was loud and amateurish and the bass player couldn't improvise to save his life. But the worst part of the show was Mark Curran, who couldn't sing, had a vocal range of less than an active, couldn't sing an entire line of lyric, the end of each line was mumbled, spoke many of the lines of lyrics instead of singing AND couldn't remember the words to about 90% of the songs, he forgot word, added incorrect words, even admitted in one song he couldn't remember the lyrics, but couldn't even get the lyrics to New York, New York right!!!! A real disgrace to take our money under false pretenses but poor Frank Sinatra was probably doing somersaults in his grave that Mark Curran would call this a "tribute".
