TRAPT IN CONCERT:

Trapt continue to make heads bang with their melodic brand of nu metal, delivering another strong collection of grungy alt-rock anthems in 2013 with Reborn, their sixth studio album. Whether charismatic frontman Chris Taylor Brown is tearing through hits like "Headstrong" and "Stand Up" or reaching out to touch fans in the crowd, his dynamic presence always ensures the perfect balance of aggression and intimacy, making the band's shows as appropriate for mosh pits as they are for sing-alongs. Back on the road and tighter than ever, Trapt has fans eagerly awaiting their upcoming tour dates.

BACKGROUND SNAPSHOT:

Formed by a group of California high school students in the mid-'90s, Trapt played their first shows before even graduating, landing on tour with Papa Roach soon after. Following their self-released 1999 debut Amalgamation, the band attracted the eye of Warner Bros. Record execs, resulting in their self-titled 2002 major label debut. The album spawned three singles including "Headstrong," their top-selling single to date and an enduring encore favorite at the band's live shows. They released several more successful albums in the '00s, landing nine singles on the Mainstream Rock chart and performing alongside greats like Papa Roach and Buckcherry. Back on the road in support of their most ambitious record to date, Trapt has anticipation for their upcoming shows at a fever pitch.

FANS WHO BOUGHT TICKETS SAY:

"They put on a high energy show and have a great relationship with the crowd. Trapt is an act meant to be experienced, not simply heard."

"I knew they would be good but OH MY GOD they blew me away! Chris is such an amazing performer with an amazing voice, I would definitely go to another show in a heartbeat."

"...Trapt was seriously unforgettable! They played their new songs but mostly their old stuff which is my favorite. Two songs for encore brought the house down!"

Amazing! Can't wait to see them again!

by Melissa C. on 1/23/24The Parish at House of Blues Anaheim - Anaheim

My husband and I have been listening to Trapt since we were in High School 20 years ago! I randomly came across that they would be performing at House of Blues in Anaheim and immediately bought tickets. The show was fantastic! They played all their greatest hits plus lots of new songs from their upcoming album and we absolutely loved it! I hope they come back so we can see them again. Plus, it's always extra special to see a band in a really intimate venue!

    Overall experience

by Concert viewer on 3/23/22HMAC Capitol Room - Harrisburg

The bands they opened for trapt were really good. Dusk till death was great. Trapt didn’t play real long maybe 40 mins. He sounded good. But they didn’t really seem like they wanted to be there. They did a good enough job but nothing extra. Not many people were their maybe 200 at the most

    Best Concert Ever!

by Bsi on 2/6/20The Canyon Agoura Hills - Agoura Hills

Love the Band Trapt. Been listening to them for over 15 years. This concert had maybe like 100 people, but with such a small crowd, I was able to fully enjoy every second the Band was on stage. Sang every word and rocked out in my own space, with out being stuck shoulder to shoulder. Could not have asked for a better environment, in my opinion. Thank you for that experience!

Amazing Artists, great sound, venue was blah

by Getpiggywithit on 2/22/18The Masquerade - Atlanta

All the artists that played at this event were fantastic, Chris (Trapt) put on a great acoustic show. Played a good mix of songs and even a few brand new songs. . Easy Friends, his brothers band, and an opener for the show, was really good and brought alot of energy to the crowd. Other openers- Insomnia, Misty Eyed and Sojourn all did great. The venue employees in charge of sound check did a fantastic job, it was apparent they really cared about their jobs. I cannot say enough great things about the bands and their performances, hence my 5 star rating. The venue however was very "meh". The Tabernacle is worlds nicer. Only perk is that it is super easy to access, parking deck is literally attached via a breezeway, however the area itself isn't that great after dark.

    Intimate venue, great bands!

    by medic220 on 9/19/17The Masquerade - Atlanta

Hadn't been to the new Masquerade location until this event. This one was in the "Hell" portion. Small venue with great sound...everything is close to the stage. All the bands that performed were great, if only a little delayed btwn a couple of the groups. Otherwise this was a fantastic experience and I look forward to going back for other bands in the future!

    make America rock again

by Insayne on 10/26/16Pompano Beach Amphitheater - Pompano Beach

Great show all bands were great. Didn't stay till the end tired of being wet (rained alot) Otherwise love the venue. Always feels like you are up close and personal to the bands Not much into rap but Crazytown was kicking it. I really only came to see Saliva been listening to them for about 10 years but was never able to see them live before. Only disappointment was they didn't play nearly long enough.
