    Transatlantic Rocked It!

    by A. K. on 4/29/22The Belasco - Los Angeles

Great band! Gorgeous venue, good sound (thank goodness I brought my earplugs)! Drinks were way overpriced though! Even the water.

Band were great - the venue was yoga torture.

by Iain on 4/26/22The Belasco - Los Angeles

We are committed fans, we drove a nine-hour round trip of almost 600 miles. Not our first time seeing the band, and they are very talented and professional. The start was significantly delayed due tech and equipment issues/repairs, but the band agreed to go late and play their planned set. Regretfully with new equip there was no time to sound check and the opening suffered, albeit the sound guys worked hard to balance the sound. The set was The Absolute Universe Overture: The Absolute Universe Reaching for the Sky Higher Than the Morning The Darkness in the Light Take Now My Soul Bully Rainbow Sky Looking for the Light The World We Used to Know The Sun Comes Up Today Love Made a Way (prelude) Owl Howl Solitude Belong Lonesome Rebel Can You Feel It Looking for the Light (Reprise) The Greatest Story Never Ends Love Made a Way The Whirlwind Medley Overture (Intro/Whirlwind only) Rose Colored Glasses Evermore Is It Really Happening? Dancing With Eternal Glory (Whirlwind reprise only) We All Need Some Light (Dedicated to the people of Ukraine) SMPT:e/Bridge Across Forever Medley Duel With the Devil (Motherless Children & Walk Away) My New World (Shortened) All of the Above (Full Moon Rising) Stranger in Your Soul (Sleeping Wide Awake &… more ) The performance time was over 3 hours and ended just on midnight. Parking was easy, I paid online for a space in the lot opposite the theatre. The theater is old and tired and in need of investment and TLC. The cleanliness was subpar but the huge negative was the seating. As the doors opened at 7pm and the show ended at 12 midnight seats are important! The floor chairs were aged wooden folding chairs zip-tied together. For the average adult there simply was not enough room because they were tied together and touching the stranger next to you was unavoidable. Ironic that there were covid health concerns and requirements, yet we were literally all touching each other. To take initiative I was directed to the box office, who were must unsympathetic and unprofessional, their remedy was to abandon my seat, purchase another (no refund for the original) and maybe it would be better. Kind of disappointing that once they had my money there was no interest in my customer experience. I am unlikely to return to the venue.

    Great Concert, Some Technical Problems

    by D. R. on 4/26/22The Belasco - Los Angeles

The performance by Transatlantic was amazing and memorable. Definitely worth the drive to see them. There were some technical issues that caused the concert to start 2 hours late and also caused Neal's keyboards to not be heard a couple of times. The venue was old, beautiful and classic, but if seated in the balcony, the pipe and cable safety fence annoyingly blocked your view unless you were standing. If this band ever tours again, don't miss seeing them!

    Great, even if disappointing

by Draven on 4/25/22MTELUS - Montreal

When the show started, I seriously wondered what the hell was going on. Singers missing their cues, mics turned off, other musicians missing their cue. I felt like I was either watching a high school garage band or they simply had never rehearsed this show before taking it on the road. After about half an hour, things seemed to settle in and they showed their true potential, and the show was great. But that initial start? Brutal. P.S. Very impressed by the bassist. I don't recall ever seeing him, but he rocks!

    Great Show! Excellent Venue!

by mousse4line5 on 4/19/22The Wellmont Theater - Montclair

I had never seen Transatlantic live before. Have always loved their music. I thought that their music in a venue this size would be the perfect antidote to "Covid hibernation". I drove 230 miles each way to see them and would have gone further. I was surprised and excited that they performed "The Absolute Universe" in its entirety. This made the concert an instant success. The only thing that could have made the show a "5 star" rating for me, would be if they performed (finished the show with) the song "Suite Charlotte Pike". It is my favorite Transatlantic song. I think the up-tempo and strong vocal elements would be a perfect counterpoint to some of the music from "The Absolute Universe" and "Whirlwind'.

    Awesome !!

by Jake44 on 4/19/22The Wellmont Theater - Montclair

So its very rare to catch a Transatlantic Show, with all the other stuff going on its tough for them to write music then tour because of all the other commitments, that being said you do not want to miss them when they come around. This was such a treat and they gave us a full three hours of masterpieces ! Magical, thanks guys !
