    A wonderful evening.

by C. G. on 2/14/23National Arts Centre / Centre national des Arts - Ottawa

We really enjoyed our family night out listening to the Toronto Symphony Orchestra at the NAC. Both the contemporary & classical suites & exceptional soloist were outstanding. The only change I would have like would be the amount of talking/moving the couple in front of us were doing throughout the entire show. It was unfortunately very distracting.

    This was just amazing.

by Louise on 9/28/21CityView - Toronto

The event was very well organized. The sound was surprizingly good. $255.is a good price if you are 4 in a car but quite expensive for people who are alone. However it was a great experience.

    Rather fine performance

by AlanEngineer on 1/11/16The Peabody Daytona Beach - Daytona Beach

We thoroughly enjoyed this concert, and the orchestra was quite good....at least as fine a presentation as most companies we have attended. The choice of a program was delightful, and the musicians were very well rehearsed. This is the first time we had been to the Peabody, and it was very comfortable and its acoustics of the hall were fine.

    Exceptional performance

by MACK6262 on 1/11/16The Peabody Daytona Beach - Daytona Beach

The music was beautiful and the performers excelled. In particular, the pre-performance lecture by Dr. Weekley made the event all the more enjoyable.

Incredible evening with inspiring music. The pianist and cellist solos were the best I've ever heard and the entire orchestra is so in sync and passionate that it shows with each note. Even if you're not a fan of orchestras, go to this and experience how music can move you.

    Carmina Burana

by Granlene on 11/2/13Roy Thompson Hall - Toronto

I had the privilege of being in the audience for the performance of Carmina Burana on November 1st. The adjective that best describes the performance is "MAGNIFICENT". Peter Oundjian's as the conductor was flawless and beyond appropriate applause. The Toronto Mendelssohn Choir gave a thrilling performance and the soloists Valentina Farcas, Nicholas Phan and James Westman were a perfect choice for this incredible music. There are not enough adjectives to properly credit the performance. The orchestra can compete with any in the world, much credit due to it's incredible conductor, Peter Oundjian. There is really no need for additional music on the program since anything pales in comparison. Altogether a performance that would be hard to equal.

The Toronto Symphony Orchestra performance was stellar. From the prodigious violin soloist to the animated, physically fit and stylishly attired conductor, to the kid friendly Nutcracker encore, it was a performance that kept my family enthralled and smiling from start to fiinish! The orchestra performers and the conductor exuded genuine warmth toward the audience! Fantastic.
