    Just.... So good.

by MonicaLane on 4/25/17The Regent Theater - Los Angeles

His shows are always fantastic. Always very casual, talking to the crowd, usually pretty long, takes requests. And will yell at you if it is something he doesn't want to play haha. I am always excited when he comes by the Los Angeles area. It's always a show that far exceeds the cost of the ticket.

    Awesome acoustic show!!

by stocclan on 5/6/11Brighton Music Hall - Boston

Had a great time at the Toh Kay solo acoustic show. He played all my favorite Streetlight tunes, chatted with the crowd and tried to take requests although everyone was yelling at once and he had to shut them up and choose for us:) His music has been a great generational bridge for my family and I. In fact, I met my 24 year old son in Boston to go to the show together. We have seen Streetlight several times and will definately see Tomas in any venue again.

    Toh Kay was good

by FordNelson on 5/6/11Brighton Music Hall - Boston

It was definitely the least professional seeming concert that I've been to, as he stopped multiple times in the middle of songs either because he forgot where he was or was responding to stuff people yelled out. It was still great, though, as he was funny each time. The format also seemed more intimate than most concerts, as he played his Streetlight repertoire but in a much more relaxed manner. He also solicited requests from the audience multiple times but then just seemed to play whatever he wanted (he did the same thing when I saw him play with Streetlight).

If you love Streetlight, youll love this

by steadyriot on 5/6/11Brighton Music Hall - Boston

Toh Kay (Tomas Kalnoky of Streetlight Manifesto) was great live. The show consists of him sitting on a chair/stool playing some re-worked acoustic versions on Streetlight songs. He is very talented on the guitar, more so than comes through on the SM records. This 'intimate' show shows some of Tomas's personality too. He was funny between songs- explaining his forgetfullness of lyrics, dislike of planned encores, and love for whiskey before shows. During 'A Moment of Silence', after singing the line "if you hate me so much then stop singing my songs" he paused and said "although last I heard those guys are all working in gas stations so it doesnt really matter anymore" which got a ton a cheers from the enthusiastic crowd. If you like Streetlight and want to experience the songs in a new and refreshing way go see Toh Kay.
