We are still raving about Toby's show last night at the Jamin Java, Her voice is rich and beautiful, every song is beautifully written, her bandmates are talented and she's charming. What's not to like!!! I look forward to seeing her the next time she comes t town.
We saw Toby in Lake Forest Illinois on October 5. She has a great voice. Her songs are inspiring. And she tells fun stories. She is an inspiration. We went not knowing what to expect and had one of the best times ever
I have seen Toby 3 times now and she is a constant - beautiful voice - cute personality, just love her. I do not think she gets enough praise... she should be on top of all charts by now.... truly amazing!
Ladies were awesome! I heard all my favorites and Aslyn was a welcomed addition to the nite. Both ladies wowed us with their voices.
such a great show featuring 2 women with such powerful voices! They really engaged the audience by telling stories about each song, which really helped the audience connect with the lyrics. I would definitely recommend this show and their albums to anyone! Can't wait to see Toby again in concert.
Toby Lightman played a great acoustic set at Cafe 939. It is a small venue, so the setting was super intimate. I don't know why everyone was sitting down, but that aside...the music was fantastic, Toby was very interactive, and she and Aslyn (the opening act) played a few songs together that blew me away. Both stayed on afterward to chat with the audience and take pictures. I look forward to seeing more of both Toby and Aslyn.
