Soundgarden, Stone Temple Pilots, Alice in Chains, and Tool was the order of the cover bands. I would have reversed it personally and had Tool go on first. They sounded great, and louder than the other bands, but I looked through the crowd and everyone was just standing around nodding their heads up & down. Maybe they rotate the order on other tours??
The Soundgarden cover band sounded great. The singer really wailed and they played a good mix of their old music. STP was next and while we didn't care for the singers choice of clothing, they got the crowd going. I would def. prefer a different name too than "Lady Picture Show," and I would rather hear more old stuff than newer songs (pre-No. 4).
AIC was next and I think this was the same cover band I saw in the late 90's at Mother's in Wayne, NJ...not sure if it's all of the same members though. They played a lot of old stuff which was really cool.
Tool finished loud & strong and the singer had really cool black & white face makeup but chilled in the back by the drummer (very Maynard of him, eh).
Good show all in all for $4.50 a band.
