Uptown theater is a beautiful venue - wonderful remodeling job - acoustics were great. We'll be back for more showings. rp

by Calimom58 on 1/28/13Uptown Theatre Napa - NapaFortunately the music at this show was amazing. Tim's band is incredibly talented and obviously love what they do. My disappointment with this event was that it was advertised as Tim Flannery and "Many Special Friends." I paid extra for the VIP experience which was supposed to include a meet and greet with these special people. There was no meet and greet and there were no special friends, baseball or musical. I didn't mind the money as it was a benefit for Brian Stowe and that's certainly a most worthwhile cause. But I think it was really unfair to make promises that weren't kept. This concert was a gift to someone who really loves baseball and I had hoped he would be able to meet someone from the Giants but it didnt' happen--very disappointing. Again, the music was awesome and that's a good thing.

by KDog827 on 1/28/13Uptown Theatre Napa - Napa& many special friends - read this back in November, Bonnie, Jackson, Bruce, Jackie are some of Tim's friends, and invites have gone out, and just had to get tickets. Even had Dancing Bears and a picture of Jackie Greene on the poster. Great music TF and the Lunatic Fringe put out, but disappointed in the "suggestions" of who might show up, as no one did.
