This is an experience not to be missed! Anyone not physically able to attend an SEC football game day can see the Golden Band from Tigerland from the comfort of a seat. The concert band performs then the marching band plays game day favorites as well as a montage of this season’s halftime shows. This is an annual event usually on the bye week.
The LSU Tiger Bands did a phenomenal job of engaging the audience. There isn’t anything second class when it comes to LSU. Honestly, the only disappointment is that it didn’t last for 3 hours. 🙂. It was definitely worth the money and I’m already looking forward to next year!
I had a feeling that it would be a wonderful concert, but I had no idea of the majesty and pageantry the show actually presented. As a HUGE LSU TIGERS fan, I was blown away. I purposely bought a ticket in the center section and middle seat in the last row in order to get the full effect of the feeling of the music and I am soooooo glad that I did. I made it a point to make sure that I would not miss this event. I cannot make the games but watch them on TV most weekends and knowing the band would be in New Orleans, there was no way that I would miss the chance to see and hear The Golden Band from Tigerland live and in effect. They were absolutely AMAZING and to hear the stirring rendition of the pregame was thunderous in the confines of the acoustically fine-tuned Saenger Theater. My hat goes out to the Music Department for putting on a World Class event and I TRULY look forward to attending next year's performance.
A fantastic experience. Great energy and entertainment. A wonderful student led and produced event.
The concert afterwards was horrible. Parents couldn't get out fast enough after hearing the act use profanity and talk about drugs. The skits were not skits like they had in the past. Loved seeing the football players and tiger band, but where was the cheerleaders? Rally Cats are not the Clemson Tiger cheerleading squad. They are dancers just like tiger band dancers. The president was booed by the students which was shocking. The fireworks were not the standard set in the 90's and we had a terrible football record. Why didn't Dabo talk? It is a pep rally but it lost a lot of pep with the two hosts and no real skits put on by all organizations not just greek. Will not attend again.
Great concert for Clemson Homecoming. My husband & I are of a different generation than the students (I’m an alumnus), but we LOVED Johnnyswim. What a beautiful warm transparent couple, & so eclectic musically. The musicianship, lyrics, music, beautiful voices and harmony—- made for a memorable night! I love how all ages loved their music & responded, from little children to teens, young adults & older adults (like us). Will be downloading as much Johnnyswim as I can find. Oh, and what fabulous positive messages (without being sappy or preachy); it was a concert that elevated everyone there. Just fabulous. No matter what your taste in music, I’d suggest giving g Johnnyswim a listen. They can rock your world 😊

We enjoyed Tigerama. It's a great pep rally for the night before the Homecoming football game. And we were treated with a concert by a singing duo named Johnny Swim. They seemed to be a big hit with students.
It was awesome! perfect weather and a wonderful/ relaxing band to kick off homecoming week at Clemson University. Great seating and technicalities all worked even though this was the first concert in 20 years on the field.
Very well organized and entertaining. Johnnyswim wails.
