Well, my favorite song of their's is either Elephants or Warsaw/The First Breath You Take After You Give Up...and they played the hell out of them. During the chorus to Elephants it seemed like the entire crowd was singing it like an anthem that no one really knows the meaning to. Then there was the lack-luster response to Mind Eraser which might have been just the fact that everybody's seen it done on all the shows such as SNL, et al. I still thought it rocked. Reptiles was super awesome and my friend mentioned afterward that Alain Johannis' guitar sounded impossible for that track, and I concur. The new song called something like You Can't Imagine started with John Paul Jones on Violin, then running the gambit of all of his instruments by the end of the song...awesome.
The song they closed with was especially...awesome. Warsaw. It started off per usual and then strayed, then seemed to stop as Josh poured what's left of his filthy heart out to Chi-Town, then they finished the song. I love that song, that venue, that band, AND that city...STAY BEAUTIFUL CHICAGO!!!
