    Incomparable

by Jack on 2/14/24The Studio at Mizner Park - Boca Raton

There is only one Whiffenpoofs. With a more modern repertoire than in years past, the performance was enjoyable, with incredible voices and arrangements. It is a privilege to see the Whiffs and I try to attend their performances every chance I get.

    Fun, beautiful harmony, great personalities!

by Bunky on 2/14/24The Studio at Mizner Park - Boca Raton

Fun and entertaining performance. Very professionally performed with humor interspersed between songs. We loved the variety in the songs they chose. Would definitely attend another performance when they are in our area.

    Outstanding Performance

    by swimmom42 on 10/11/17Adler Theatre - Davenport

The Whiffenpoofs did not disappoint!! Their voices blended beautifully and their selection of music was so enjoyable. Only one negative...the Adler Theater smells so musty!! It needs a thorough cleaning of the seats, carpet, etc. I have been to other performances at the Adler recently and still the same staleness in the air.

    Whiffenpoofs Shortchanged

by Foureye on 1/22/13Town Hall - New York

This was a very disappointing concert for the Whiffenpoofs. They sang only seven songs, and the billing for the event did not list all the other acts that had to be accommodated during the show. So if you shelled out a lot of money to see the Whiffenpoofs, you got about half of what you paid for.

    Whiffenpoofs with Christine Ebersol

by LPMitchell on 1/22/13Town Hall - New York

The Whffenpoofs are amazing... was so looking forward to seeing them perform with my beloved Christine Ebersole. Unfortunately, they only did one song together which was beyond wonderful but left me wanting more.. a lot more! Christine's solo show was incredible but, again, I wanted to see her with the Wiffenpoofs! I really hated the NYU group- the three songs they performed all sounded a like. The beat box guy just seems cliche at this point. I think it was a poor addition to the program. Just was the wrong venue for them- anyone going to see The Wiffenpoofs and Christine Ebersol are looking for entertainment of a bit higher caliber-- perhaps more in the classic vein. The diverse outfits focused on the memeber's individuality but in such a choral group it should be about the whole. Very disappointing. Wished there had been a program-- it omission was a missed opportunity to showcase the Elizabeth Glazer AIDS Foundation. And, of course, it's always apropriate to provide credit for the performers.

The Whiffenpoofs gave a wonderful display of their musical abilities in a variety of songs...but the icing on the concert was the wonderful Christine Ebersole. After joining them in singing "I Only Have Eyes for You", Ms Ebersole proceded to enchant and entertain the crowd as only she can with her illustrious voice and witty banter. A truly memorable evening.

    Wiffenpoofs - so good

by Hmckee on 2/1/11University of Denver - Newman Center - Gates Concert Hall - Denver

This is a very talented, funny and professional group. We were entertained by a wide variety of songs from current hits to standards. Good job. My only complaint is that sometimes the soloist could not be heard because the chorus was too loud. This was especially annoying during the ballad since I was interested in trying to follow the story. Other than that, a very enjoyable evening.

    Whiffenpoofs

by Anonymous on 1/31/11University of Denver - Newman Center - Gates Concert Hall - Denver

Great fun! They are polished showmen. Enjoyed their varied repertoire. They played well to the audience. I felt only slightly cheated that the Idiosingcracies sang first.

    Great Evening!

The Whiffenpoofs were sensational. Fast moving, humor, youthful exuberance and the music was exactly as great as I expected.
