by Pat on 4/22/24Hackensack Meridian Health Theatre at the Count Basie Center - Red BankGreat theater and accommodating staff! Convenient parking. I loved the opening act, the Adam Ezra Group. I had never heard of them but will follow them now. I love The Wallflowers and was looking forward to seeing them but it was so loud. My friend stayed an hour and then left. Very disappointing.

The Band may have played well, but we couldn't tell because the sound system was very garbled, which was not compensated for by the increased volume! We were not surprised to meet other patrons in the lobby when we left early, all complaining about the poor sound quality also. We certainly don't plan on attending another concert at Count Basie.
