The Von Trapps Tickets

I took my granddaughter to see the Von Trapps and we both enjoyed the show very much! Since she's 13 I wasn't sure if she would like them as she is a big fan of current music groups such as Fall Out Boy, etcetera. Anyway, she absolutely loved the show, as did I!! They sang in several different languages and told some great stories! Much of the music was written by 20-year old August and the harmonization of the group is excellent. This is a very talented group -- go see them -- you will be happy you did!!!

Nice if you want to hear songs you don't know sung in Ruwandan or Swedish. Lulls you to sleep. Nice voices but boring!

The vocals were amazing! I just couldn't get into many of their songs they were hard to understand!

The harmonious blend was very good. The selection of music was quite diverse. Narrators needs to speak more slowly and directly into the microphones.

Beautiful Singers!!!! Good clean fun. Very Cultural, with many songs done in different languages. Loved seeing the "rest of the story" from the sound of music. Feels like it completed the circle in learning about the family and seeing the posterity of the Captain and Maria. I loved when the group sang acapella. Although the musicians did a wonderful job, I was not a fan of the arrangement or style of the music played to accompany the singers. However, the show was still enjoyable!

Great show!! Can't stop telling everyone how amazing and how we enjoyed everything.

What an absolute treat and thrill to hear and meet these great-grandchildren of the Capt. & Maria von Trapp. They were a delight, and are all equally gifted with voices from above - their harmonies give goose-bumps!! I am so grateful to have heard them live.

These 4 "kids to us" were awesome. Their ability to harmonize, whether with music or a acappella, was outstanding. Their ability to sing in so many different languages was another awesome ability. All 4 of them were "down to earth" and easily connected with their audience. Thoroughly enjoyed the show. With both of us having been to Saltzburg, Austria it was an evening of remembrance for us, especially when the explained their family tree and linage. What a night we had - Absolutely fabulous night we had!!
