THE TOSSERS IN CONCERT:

Celtic punk rockers The Tossers have been inciting riotous good times with their whiskey-soaked tunes and barroom-rocking live performances for more than two decades. The six-piece combines rock instruments with traditional elements like mandolin, fiddle, and the tin whistle, making for a unique sound that's brimming with both punk attitude and folk flavor. Whether frontman T. Duggins is confessing that "Whiskey Makes Me Crazy" or telling the tale of "Seven Drunken Nights", The Tossers always bring the pub to the people with their carousing performances on tour.

BACKGROUND SNAPSHOT:

The Tossers formed in Chicago in 1993 and made their debut the following year with the cleverly titled album The Pint of No Return. The debauchery continued in 1996 with sophomore album We'll Never Be Sober Again, which the band supported with extensive regional touring. By the early '00s they were regularly opening up for Flogging Molly and Dropkick Murphys, two acts who helped drive Celtic punk's crossover success on mainstream airwaves. The Tossers continued releasing albums throughout the '00s and in 2007 they opened for Irish punk pioneers The Pogues on Saint Patrick's Day in New York City, a billing that underscored their influential role within the genre. Since then they've continued to keep spirits high with their feel-good songs and rollicking performances on tour.
