by j. r. on 2/24/20The Canyon Agoura Hills - Agoura Hills

The band was awsome. The music was awsome. And the lead singer Gave it 110%. He got the crowd pumped up And even came out into the audience and made sure you were participating. One of the best concerts i have been to. We had a great time.

    *Entirely too much fun!*

by glwaggs on 8/19/19The Rose - Pasadena

Great classic band that really gets the place rockin'! The venue (The Rose, in Pasadena CA) has an excellent staff, great sound, and incredible food. When "The Sweet" hit the stage, you won't need your chair for the rest of the night.

    The Sweet Rocked!

by dave661 on 5/1/19The Canyon Santa Clarita - Santa Clarita

Great show! Paulie Z is a great frontman, strong voice very energetic. A great fit for this lineup. Very fun and rocking show. Good drums guitar and keys too. Steve Priest still plays a mean bass and that voice takes you back. Songs from the 70's that invoke great memories were fresh and now have new memories.

Waited 40 years to see Sweet, not disappointed

by Drivin'395 on 5/1/19The Canyon Santa Clarita - Santa Clarita

I've been a Sweet fan since the 70s, and although the current line up only features Steve Priest, they were great and sounded great. Steve has put together a great band, including the challenging vocals (lead and backing), done first class. It was very entertaining and the Canyon venue (first time to any Canyon) exceeded expectations, it was clean, organized, and staffed with friendly people and an intimate setting, i.e. all seats are close to the stage. I was 3 feet from the stage and I was not overpowered with sound, however being close stage left, the vocals weren't mixed real clear for my position, I assume they were mixed well in the area of the soundboard (I never left my seat, except to stand, during Sweet's performance). Mai Tai's were large and good, Artichoke dip very good, but pita chips would have been better than corn chips.

Great venue. American version of the sweet.. meh

by Lwfrdh on 5/9/17The Rose - Pasadena

Great venue, good food... terrible waitress. Really incompetent! Would of rather seen the European version of the sweet. I didn't know there were 2 versions. Also, they put me across the seat from my wife. Wanted her next to me.

I've seen this band many times since they re formed in 2008. This is the best performance yet. Mitch Perry a big key. Plays fantastic guitar!

Cross this one off of your Bucket list !!!

by Brad777 on 7/14/15The Canyon - Agoura Hills

The opening guys were great, they tried really hard to give a great show and give everyone a great time, in spite of their talent levels. But, they totally blew SWEET of off of the stage, HOW VERY SAD. Steve Priest needs to give up and not play anymore. He completely DID NOT CARE. Joe Rhetto tried to sing but something was even wrong with him. I saw these guys at H.O.B's on Sunset a few years back and they were great, THEN. BUT, NOW THEY JUST PLAIN SUCK. VERY SAD. AND I AM SURE THAT THEY DO NOT CARE AS LONG AS THEIR CHECKS CLEAR THE BANK. ONE BIG WASTE OF TIME !!!

    Fantastic

by nickfan on 11/21/09Potawatomi Casino/Northern Lights Theater - Milwaukee

This was a Blockbuster night. The Sweet are back. Thanks for taking me back in time with the music I loved. My wife who was not familiar with the original band because of her age(yes, she's younger than I am) enjoyed the concert. She also said it was Xcellent. Thanks again for a Blockbuster evening. Long live SWEET
