    Mesmerizing

by EW on 1/29/24Tilles Center Concert Hall - Brookville

We got there early so we could enjoy the pre-show music by Luminous Sounds in the atrium. They played pop songs on chamber music instruments - very cool. Then to the main event, three amazing pieces, plus an encore! The RPO and pianist Isata Kanneh-Mason gave magnificent performances. Also everyone who works there was friendly and helpful. We had the best time. I left humming Sheherazade's theme.

    The evening was amazing!

by Alice H. on 1/29/24Tilles Center Concert Hall - Brookville

I often go to Carnegie Hall & Lincoln Center and I did wonder how the acoustics would be for this performance. I was amazed. The performance sound was full bodied, rich yet intimate. We have also seen Isata Kennth-Mason perform a recital at Carnegie which was mesmerizing. However, seeing her perform with the Philharmonic Orchestra offered an exciting level of energy from everyone on the stage that filtered out into the audience. My husband & I thoroughly enjoyed the evening and we look forward to more wonderful events on the future!

The pianist played with great technique and musicality. The orchestra played brilliantly and the encore was unexpected.

    Fabulous Concert

by gotboxr on 1/27/20The Soraya (The Valley's Center for the Performing Arts) - Northridge

Mr. Zuckerman gave an outstanding performance of the Bruch Violin Concerto, with both technical brilliance and passion. His conducting of Beethoven's Seventh was equally splendid, with an orchestra that matched his own performance. Mr. Zuckerman has lost none of his youthful brilliance and the sound of his violin was extraordinary. As for the venue, the acoustics were wonderful, my seat in the mid-orchestra was excellent and I had a great sight line to the stage so I could clearly see everything.

    What a wonderful concert

by DesertPat on 1/26/20Centennial Hall - Tucson

The music was wonderful and I thoroughly enjoyed the concert. First time using Ticketmaster and it was quite slick. Had my ticket in my Apple Wallet and just waltzed into the hall. The only negative thing was that the concert was poorly attended. All that glorious music and so few people. I hope that UA can afford to continue bringing such performances to Tucson.

    Review

by Rob on 1/25/20Centennial Hall - Tucson

Orchestra was great. Lively, accurate, warm. The venue, Centenial Hall, was not the venue for them. Overhead stage lights shining into the audience, yet did not illuminate Pincushion Zuckerman when he was soloing or conducting. Sound quality was also dismal. Treble was off, sound muted. That stage is good for a play, a load rock band, not for an orchestral gem like the RPH. Poor planning. Saw a concert two nights later, the Tuscon Symphony Orchestra, at their concert hall. What’s difference. The best place for a symphony orchestra.

    Great orchestra

    by R. C. on 1/25/20Centennial Hall - Tucson

Beautifully played classical music. The Mozart violin Concerto was spectacular. Tchaikovsky 5th symphony also well played but it’s a really loud piece. I prefer Beethoven.

    Great Performance!!!

by WillGP on 1/30/18Valley Performing Arts Center - Northridge

It seems that time flies when you're having a great time. And that's exactly what this evening was. Their performance was flawless and just sounded magnificent. The conductor was a treat to watch. Would love to see them again. Next time, I'll be sitting closer.
