The Roches' Holiday Show Tickets

The Roches were as usual funny and amazingly talented. I do think they might be starting to show their age - but I still really enjoyed the show. I do wish they would put out another Christmas album - their Christmas music is fabulous. And Suzzy's daughter Lucy was sweet, wry, and very talented as well. Probably my only complaint is that they didn't do more Christmas music. This year was a bonus, when I saw them last year, they said they were not going to tour any more. I was thrilled that they toured again, and hope they keep on doing it.

Always like hearing the Roches in the 80s, but wasn't sure what they would sound like now. Their voices were great. The quirky sense of humor and celestrial harmonies were even better in person. Suzzy was the storyteller and can see where Lucy Wainwright inherited it.

What a wonderful way to spend an evening! Great music, fun commentary great time all around. It was like being at a party with the three sisters and Suzzy's daughter too Lucy. I hope the Birchmere has the Roaches with daughter Lucy back again soon! They play so well together and so many good songs and we seem to have only heard a sample of their music. So Birchmere please bring them back! Even having my CD's signed was fun. We talked about the year their Big Nothing video (for MTV) was filmed (the same year as the earthquake in San Francisco! - I still have to look that up).

We love Lucy! And we love the Roches. A superb concert.

We loved the show. Lucy was wonderful and The Roches were excellent. We wished the show had lasted longer.
