Absolutely brilliant -our 11 the time to see it!!

Everything about this show was spot-on. The singing, acting, set, and even dancing. Sometimes it was hard to remember that these are just High School students. And The Stanley theater - the perfect venue for such a well-done production. So good, they should go on tour and charge double!
We were a little doubtful that a high school production could live up to the reputation of a professional performance of Phantom of the Opera. We had seen it twice on Broadway and another time in Toronto. The Westmireland School production did not disappoint in anyway. The voices were incredible, we were blown away! Everything from the set designs to the costumes to the orchestra to the entire cast left us in total amazement. Brava, Brava, Brava to everyone involved in this production. It is by far the very best high school production we have ever seen & can hold itself up against most professional productions. Thank you a wonderful evening of music & acting.
I could not believe how great all those kids were!!! Their voices were amazing. I cannot believe that was a high school performance.
I wasn't told until after the event that a highschool put on the performance...I would have thought it was a proffessional group. The students were phenominal. The highlight of the night, by far, was the girl who played the lead role...I believe the character name was "Christine" and according to the cast list, her name was Allison Davis. Her voice was the best I have ever heard live. She absolutely lit up the stage every moment she was on it. She clearly has a promising future and I would pay to go to any show if I knew that she was in it.
The new, revised Phantom's performance at Honolulu's Blaisdell Theater was the best theatrical performance I've ever seen in all of my life. Seriously. I'm a musical theater professional musician and often play with pit orchestra's for major productions. I've seen countless musical theater productions on Broadway, London's West End, and all over the US. We recently saw a wonderful production of Hamilton at Chicago's CIBC Theater. Still, the Phantom production at Honolulu's run-down, decrepit Blaisdell Center was perfection and spectacular. We saw Phantom 30 years ago at the Abramson Theater in LA, but the HNL production was 10 times better. We had center 6th row seats in both productions, directly under the chandelier. We could literally feel the heat from the pyrotechnics on stage! In fact, I covered my face several times to avoid concern for singed eyebrows, that did not happen. HNL's amazing cast, crew, and orchestra was nothing short of perfection. Mahalo to this touring company for a fantastic performance. I'm still excited, and it's been a couple of months later!
We loved every minute of the show! Loved the stage and props, as well as the actors and actresses!
I took my bestie on her birthday and it was amazing. This was my first time seeing Phantom and my friend's second. I heard about the story. To have it told and displayed in a live play - no words. You just need to sit back and listen. I would definitely go again if they came to town.
Loved the singing, but I wish the sound was amplified more. It was difficult to hear and we were sitting in the Orchestra section.
I thoroughly enjoyed the off-Broadway production of Phantom of the Opera. Having seen a local production, I believe there was a change in the pace of the story. While I thought some of the pyrotechnics were a bit much, I loved the production, sets and beautiful singing/music.
