I'd never been to Nutcracker ballet before. I'm glad I attended but I wouldn't go again. I don't know if they're all this way, but the 1st part was slow and I thought the choreography was very simple. The second half was better, more lively. Many of the dancing couples were not in synch. There were obviously very talented dancers and the costumes were well done. The flutes in the music were shrill and hurt our ears.
Stiefel theatre is a great venue that could use some more restrooms. The show was great. Elaborate costumes and talented dancers. I will go again if I have a chance.
I took my two kids 5 & 8. There was something for everyone to enjoy from the amazing costumes to the impressive dancing. Beautiful from start to finish.
The performance of the Nutcracker by the Moscow Ballet was just a wonderful start to the holiday season and the perfect Christmas gift for my 87 year old mother.
