Peters, Lampanelli, Iglesias - very funny together

by FEMADave on 6/13/11Agganis Arena - Boston

The performers worked well together (as a combined act). Would recommend that each comedian watch the other's act because each act is very audience interactive and who is picked-on, and how, can overlap and can be contradictory (which makes it not so funny). Start the show on time (or at least keep the rap music to a minimum for us "older" folks sitting there for a long period of time. I'm not sure if there was an age limit for the audience, but there were several younger members and the humor was very "strong" at times.

Everyone did an excellent job! The whole arena was in stitches!

Good ethnic and sex joke comedy

by Mitul on 6/9/11Agganis Arena - Boston

Overall, pretty good. Was worth the money, but only because I haven't seen any of those 4 comedians before, on TV or live, so the jokes were fresh. I probably wouldn't pay to see them live again, though. I think Lisa Lampanelli is funnier on TV during the Comedy Central roasts. Steve Byrne was good. Russell Peters was good. Gabriel Iglesias went on too long and his schtick got old fast. He is good for a shorter set.

    Not bad

    by richierich80 on 6/9/11Agganis Arena - Boston

Needs more Russell Peters. He was the host and as such did not have that much time, but he was really the reason why I went to see the show, so I would say I was a little disappointed. Nevertheless, the rest of the comedians definitely were hilarious! All in all a good time.

    LOVED IT!

by chelliepellie on 6/8/11Agganis Arena - Boston

Steve Byrne was also there, which was a nice surprise! My one complaint is that I wish the comedians had done more new material. A lot of Lisa's stuff was new, but a lot of what the others did was old. I bought the tickets for my fiance as a birthday gift and he LOVED it! It was absolutely worth going!

    Very Funny

by ILikeConcertss on 6/8/11Agganis Arena - Boston

I am a new fan of Russell Peters. I had actually never heard his stuff before that night, but he was really funny! Lisa Lampanili wasn't unbearably crass & gross, so that was good. And Gabriel Iglesias stayed on stage an extra half hour to please the fans, so it was a great show!

    Amazing

    by Hairbear19 on 6/7/11Agganis Arena - Boston

The venue was clean, the audio and visual was great too. The performance was all it was expected to be and then some. All four performers had my husband and I in stitches. We have seen Gabriel Iglesias before and he is always coming out with new stuff. We are looking forward to him coming back again!

Great show. A little raunchy and racist at times depending on the comedian, but this is a great opportunity to see a couple of great comedians in one place.

New Majority Tour - Lampanelli = Five Stars

by JasonLeary on 6/7/11Agganis Arena - Boston

Russell and Gabriel were perfect. Lisa Lampanelli was stale and boring. The shock value of humor only works when the content is new. She didn't offend me with her statements--she offended me by thinking she was funny. Otherwise, really fun show that knew how to reach a very diverse crowd.

    Gabriel Iglesias is hilarious!

    by BostonFan2010 on 6/7/11Agganis Arena - Boston

I really enjoyed Russell Peters and Gabriel Iglesias. But as I brought my teenage son and his friend (a huge fan base of Mr. Iglesias), I was disheartened by the crude nature of the routines of the other two comics. The last time I saw Mr. Iglesias, his opening acts were much better. But Mr. Peters is incredibly entertaining and after some uncomfortable moments with the other comics, we all really enjoyed Mr. Iglesias' show.
